esprit doesnt run no 8.8! RGT is only 8 second factory car in the game! esp 8.8! if u want ill give u my 8.8 RGT settings for ur so called esprit settings n see what i can come up w/

My best time with my favorite 1/4 mile car: Lotus Esprit Sport 350

00:08:880 sec a couple of days ago. I dont think that i can take it lower than tha. Launcing with 4th gear- finishing with 5th! Yeah, it's strange....!

Finally, it seems that i have reach the max of the skyline R-34 1/4 time.

00:09:057 with no power-shifting, only full throttle and start from the first gear.

Damn!! why couldn´t it be a (8sec) car, only 00:00:057 from a 8 second car!!!

If you go Ruf, might as well go RGT. 8.8xx best time.
Zonda C12S is also pretty fast, as is the espirit.

I wonder how many sub 9 road cars there are? I know I've done it with the RGT and C12S, an espirit could probably do it, maybe a jag road car or speed 12? probably too heavy for the jag and too much wheelspin on the 12. Post a replay if you have a sub 9 road car (especially if it isn't a zonda or rgt, and ESPECIALLY if its a skyling that does 8.4 )

edit: after looking at racing line there were only 3 cars, the two aforementioned and the espirit 350. With the CTR,R34, and espirit V8SE just missing it.

I ran under 9 seconds with the same car. Right now I am at my girls home, so I don't have my PS2 or GT3 here, when I go back home I'll post the exact time.
