I was thinking about starting a 24 hour race and I have a question. Say for arguments sake the total distance covered over the 24 hours is 2000 miles. Say if I was planning on doing the first 12 hours (1000 miles) on A-Spec and then the rest on B-Spec. Would I have an increase of 1000 miles to both my A-Spec mileage and B-Spec mileage or would I have an increase of 2000 miles to my B-Spec mileage?

The quickest way to find out is to test this yourself on a short race (3 laps or so) get a car with 0 mileage and try it. ;)

AMG.

Wether you run the full race or not does not affect your mileage on either A or B-spec.

It's a simply matter of the distance you travel by that car.

For example: You bought a new car, you run 1 lap with it and you let Bob run 1 lap with it on the same track. Both the mileage will be almost the same.

You would get 1,000 A-spec and 1,000 B-spec mileage. Unlike the A-spec points, switching drivers doesn't wipe out your A-spec mileage. Hope that helps.
