so, my infraction will stay as it is???
You have a Warning, not an Infraction.
Stig22121I have got no warnings or infractions.
I'd double-check that one, if I were you. I mean, April 6th isn't that long ago.

so, those infractions that have "Never" expiration dates really don't expire/disappear?? how about mine?? i'm not double or triple posting anymore, because back then i don't know how you guys make that "Originally posted by (insert username) then you reply/quote.., so, my infraction will stay as it is???
If the infraction is set for say 3 years, then 3 years after you receive the infraction, it will be gone. But if it's one like mine where it says never then it will be there forever. My question is, do the points ever go away? If someone has been a member for 5-10 years, spent a hefty bit on GTP merchandise and has had no incidents besides the 1 (for example). Would he/she still have the strike?

Everybody has a maximum of 30 infraction points – hit 30 and you’re banned.
• A Warning always counts as 0 points.
• An Infraction usually counts as 10 points (in keeping with our 3-strikes-and-you’re-out policy; 3 x 10 = 30).
• We reserve the right to modify the points for an Infraction (for example, we’ll usually give 5 points for less egregious infractions).
Since you just have one Warning, all that means is that we’re trying to give you a nudge in the right direction. You’re in no way in danger of being banned or what not.
As for “other people”: there isn’t any way for you to see who has Warnings/Infractions – you can only view your own. Trust me, you’re not the only one with a Warning.![]()
As Smallhorses mentions above, that was a dose of strong medicine in order to stop an epidemic that was sweeping GTP at the time. Also as he mentions, it was a 48-hour expiration, and as soon as it expired, it also left your record.Interesting. So there is a 30 point limit?
I was handed a single 30 point infraction by putting a "in before lock" post. May be a "in before lock" post is consider a major infraction here? or have I sentenced to life cause I did 68mph in a 65mph zone?
I am not trying to stir anything up but just wonder.
AK47brrapp - 01 February 2008 - banned before he even finished registering
Not really OT, but I found this in the bannaninations log - How can that happen ? :-)
Someone explain that one please :-)
Between registration and account activation.
I'm not accusing anyone of doing anything, let me make that perfectly clear !..
Is it safe to assume it was a known and previously banned member ?...
Yep, it's safe to assume that.

Also, there have been quite a few members (especially on the GT5forum, but not only) that have been banninated lately, but still they're not showing at all on the "Banned User Log".
Why is that?
Sounds like a goal!I'm fairly sure you gotta "earn" a place on the bannanination log.
Well, the Banned User Log is really more of a resource for existing members with questions, rather than a detailed report of every banning. It's mostly intended for when a longer term member suddenly disappears, or when a newer (but definitely infamous) member gets banned. Curious members can come see why. Also, there have been quite a few members (especially on the GT5forum, but not only) that have been banninated lately, but still they're not showing at all on the "Banned User Log".

Yes. That's what I share my life with....Yep, it's safe to assume that.

For obvious trolls or, shall we say, 'shooting stars', we don't bother to record the action since it will likely be clear (and unimportant) why it happened.

...He's not gone. What about Orion? What finally knocked him off?
Pressure from some of the moderating staff caused him to leave, and for some reason they apparently banned him.
