It has been a while since I have played this game, and I bought it to keep, and I don't have a personal favorite to choose a car for the MR challenge in the Beginner League. I am drawn to three cars, Tommy Kaira ZZS, the MR2 G-Limited, and the Opel Speedster. I need a second opinion, so please help me out. Thank You. IMO I am leaning a little towards the ZZS, but no way far from certain.

Opel Speedster, Why? ONE WORD, ECOTEC. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I drive a Cavalier.

Semper Fidelis
Shadow Drifter

How about an NSX or a thing...I forgot it's name, it's a V8 lotus though.

No reason to devastate the competition with an NSX or Esprit.

I do know that the ZZS has been used to beat the PD Cup, I believe. So it should well handle the Beginner MR.

I only tried one race, and it walked it. So I should imagine it can beat the PD Cup (possibly struggling on Midfield II, but the others should be fine).

Der Alta successfully ran the PD Cup in the ZZS.

the ZZS is a sweet little car, I prefer it over the speedster by a large margin. The speedster seems to be faster off the line but the ZZS is more nimble and maybe over all a but faster. Never used the MRs so i can 't offer an opinion.

I've never done the PD cup with an ZZs but i did clear all of the beginner league races I could enter it in with ease. you should have no problem. You may want to keep the TC turned onto 2 03 three as without it even a gust of wind will send the ZZS ass over nose. if you are doing ny bumping with the AI they WILL spin you. Turn the ASm off, it gets in the way on the ZZs...

good luck

I would truly like to see that MR2 do it. . . but I beleive the G limited is the NA model and I don't think that would put up the fight. . . possible but I believe you'll have a better chance at success with the turbo model

Ooh. A "challenge"... Pick one of the PD Cup races and I'll give the G-limited a whirl...

Alright hit up SSR11 reverse :D

Bling!

(although it'll have to wait until tomorrow - what with it being 12.30am... :D)

193hp stock on 1220kg? And MR... Should be a walk in the park this one...

(bear in mind I've won the series with an Integra Type-R :D )

did not realize you won in and ITR. . . try a Civic Type R :D

Hmm. Qualifying on T3 Neverpit(TM) tyres, puts me in a bit of a shaky position, but the cars are bunched up nicely ahead of me (if a bit violent).

The lead Z usually pits on laps 7 and 14, so I've got a 50s advantage there - just need to make sure I'm not more than 2.5s per lap down... :D

MR2 for me. I want to try it in the PD Cup too, but I'm still having fun playing AC4 and War of the Monsters with my boys. I'll get to it, sometime soon.
