They only randomly come up every 30 cars. I've collected every car in the game and never seen a gold chrome. I finally got some from the marketplace. If you FR me, I'll send you a couple.

PS: Haggling in the Marketplace doesnt happen. Its actually a simple system - 1 car or ticket = 5 paints, 5 paints = 5 paints and sometimes you can even get 5 paints for 5 Museum Cards or 5 Horns... It is because all of these trades take 1 day of trading from you
Also, Scamming isnt that common really. 99% of us traders on the Marketplace are beyond reputable and take care of our customers (Ive had well beyond 200 trades in the past 6 months and NEVER hit a bad trader yet!). Dont let a few bad apples that have been in the Marketplace spoil the bunch
Otherwise yes, you have to wait every 30 cars for the "chance" at getting a Chrome (More often than not they are mattes that are given).

Keep an eye on the thread called - "The Giveaway Thread" There people just give random stuff everyday. But make sure to send your FR's quick as they are doing favors.
