I have NFS Shift and I notice that even with auto clutch Off, shifts are so slow. Physichally I can make a fast shift with my G27 pedals and shifter, but the game won't change in the same speed. It will change at the default shift speed, like if I used the paddles instead, which is pretty slow.

My question is if there's still this issue on Shift 2 Unleashed, since I am thinking of buying it for my PS3.

In Shift 2 everything has a delay. At least that was my impression when I was playing it.

Yeah, a lot of people complain about input lag on the console versions of Shift 2. I have the PC version and still prefer Shift even though I haven't experienced any noticeable lag.

Well and it isn't input lag what I talk about, I mean that gear shift isn't 1:1 of what you actually do with your H shifter, as opposed with GT5, where you can make very fast upshifts.

I know what you meant, but I think @dr_slump was probably referring to the input lag which subtly changed the subject of discussion. However, there's not much point in being able to make super fast shifts if your steering and/or pedal inputs are noticeably latent, unless you just want to do drag racing I suppose.
