Question about super moderators.

This is about warnings...

If you are warned, is there a little check-box type thing so that you can keep track of the people that have them?

For example, I got one on me. Do you see anything that says that I got one?

The conspiracy behind it is that. . . they have this graph chart wiht how many warnings you have and after you get "The Warning" they have a magic button they press on this graph on the computer and it automatically bans you. . . They also have special presets that will ban your IP address and such. . . pretty niftty huh?
 
There's a thread where all the offences are compiled for everyone, I think.
 
We etch your name in our arms, and draw blood for each offense. It is the scars on our arms that helps up keep track how many offenses you have. This is why we take our job so seriously.... Each warning truly hurts us more then it hurts you.

Yes, we keep track of everybody's offenses. Jordan is quite thorough in his requirements for logging offenses.

It's not our desires to show the entire site how many offenses you have. Each person has the right to amend their ways and improve. That's why any logged offenses are hidden from other members.

Are you notified when you get a warning?

If so, I'm amazed I've had none yet.
 
Yeah, Usually the moderators tell you right there and then in the thread, or theyll send you a PM.

I mean, the mods can't pick up everything.
 
If you done an offence and it has been logged, are you shamed with that forever?

Or is it possible to wipe your slate clean, such as not comitting any other offences for a certain amount of time.
 
Past offences are logged, and they stay logged forever. We tend to stick with a "three strikes and you're out" policy, but we also use discretion to modify the number of strikes according to the behavioural profile of the member concerned.
 
Actually interesting enough, I remember one day I was logged onto GTP and instead of all the new post coming up, I got a list of all the "Report to Moderator" posts from users. . . I still believe I have the screen shots at my house, I see tonight or tomorrow morning and post it : )
