Question about the HUD

Anybody knows what the icon right at the bottom of the screen means ?
The manual speaks about "instrument palette"
Searched the forum didn't found anything.
Its correlated with the throttle ?

Thx ! But why is it translated as "instrument palette"
quite confusing.
Last question : sometimes when I hit the throttle its full (some cars)
and sometimes its half-full.

So... eh ? The reason is that ?
Full is better ? Noting to do with it ?

just depends on the vehicles turbo in general.. if you have a car with say a stage 1. turbo gauge wont go up as far as a stage 3.. it really matters upon how your car uses the turbo and CANNOT be changed
