I found sometimes on my screen it looks like we leave on an even tree or I appear get a very slight edge but find myself a car length behind shortly after, then run even all the way down to the end, and its not my car....and the other guy is not hacked, its happened with many of you guys here also. I think lag isn't always visible.

I agree, no matter how fast you are, there's always going to be someone out there that's faster on any given day, and everyone gets treed sometimes, it's a fact of racing, but yes, the car in question may well have been hacked, but if he only pulled by around 1 car length I'd be thinking tree, tune, grassy tyres or possibly another simple explanation, I personally would have requested a rerun maybe with a different ghost.

yes remember a guy in a foreign lobby claim to be fast and when with us ghost we are dead even....with aussie ghost 4 to 5 cars im ahead on him but on his screen he said he tree me every time hehe got to a point calling everyone that was an aussie or nz a hacker hehe

Was it a seemless overtake (through more power / better tune) or was the overtake jerky / did he warp past?

That would explain either tune/more hp/hybrid vs lag

Could have been hidden parts like the Racing flywheel and or Tripple plate clutch, might have improved the acceleration enough to slowly pull ahead, without touching the HP/TQ.

But at least we wont have to worry about hacks online anymore, just the usual E-Cheat and clutch users to complain about now lol.

As much fun as hybrids were when used properly I think it's a good thing for the online aspect of the game that they're gone. No more skepticism.

Unfortunately it appears that a few of these modified cars may have some how slipped through the net, after hearing that hacked cars had been banned I quickly jumped into a lobby hoping to see only legitimate cars...I still seen one clearly modded car
