700 hp- Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 - tuned by Signal

or...
650 hp - Porsche 911(996) Turbo

so, whats ur pick? seriously though...

even though porsche is a very weel respected name in the car world and hold great power, a RHD car would also just be sick... thanks for for ur $.02

but not nessicerly(i can't spell),i was at my cuz's porsche dealership on friday and they had a brand new 996 Turbo and they had droped the engine out of the car it was that bad... his excuse was"new cars break too"

Yeah but a Porsche would be nicer to cruise around in, they have nice comfortable seats, powerful engine, good handling. It just seems like the Skyline would get old, but the Porsche I would love forever.

i would rather have a 993 than a 996... but a 996 is definitely a better way to go than the gtr... even if it has 700 hp. But hey i know there are many ppl who would go for the gtr

I'd take the R34 for a few reasons.

1) For a guy my size (6'4" tall) it would be a lot more comfortable.
2) If parts broke, it would probably be cheaper and easier to get fixed...(even considering the fact that the parts would have to be shipped from Japan)
3) It would be rare. I've never seen a Skyline in Rhode Island, but I've seen tons of Porsches.

Don't get me wrong. I'd love to have a 911 turbo, but I just think the R34 would fit me better.

I love the Skyline. But my wife would understand why I brought home a Porsche.
She would not understand parallel parking that caused HER to be the one that got out of the car into traffic.

The Porsche. Basically because Porsche understand how to configure suspension for British roads. The Skyline has always had a reputation for being simply awful on British roads through suspension settings that are completely inappropriate.

cool... kind of has me leaning towards the 996 Turbo, the TechArt phase 3 kit is very hot for the 996 Turbo, its like 600HP and 800 lb.ft of torque-thats very sick

do you even have to ask? GTR all the way. Don't get me wrong the porsche is awsome but IMO the skyline has more potential. Not to mention that in the US a skyline would bring much more attention than a porsche. I see them on an almost daily basis so it's not as rare to me. I also like the tunability on the skyline, not that the porsche can't put out some high numbers but the skyline is more of a "tuner" car. I also like the styling on the GTR, it looks more agressive. The GTR is surprisingly comfortable.....and quiet...well atleast untill the accelerator becomes one with the floor Also as was mentioned before, it's easier to fix. Not to mention that insurance is cheaper and it gets better gas milage.
