Question regarding an issue with Online Room Creation

Hi,

Yesterday I wanted to create an online room to see how it goes, what are the options so I will be familiar with it once I'll need it.
So, I opened the room first menu (no' of participants, connection speed, voice etc.) and the room was created.
Then I wanted to set specific cars for the race - so when I went into the menu for choosing the cars, got into the garage and the list of cars wasn't my garage !!!
It shows a list of "Recommended Cars" with 52 cars, and my cars wasn't on that list (only a few of them).
So I to my friends profile' and look at their profile, and I notice that one of them has exactly 52 cars - but I don't know yet if the lists are matched. The weird thing is that I could choose a car to drive which isn't in my garage.

So I have the following questions:
1) Did anyone else saw something similar? Is this how it suppose to work?
2) Is the list of cars that can be chosen as a race rule is determined by the game itself or should be from my garage ?
3) If it's determined by the game - why it has only 52 cars? I wanted to choose a specific car from my list
4) Could this be a in game bug?
5) Is there a method to see the list of cars of my friend so I could compare the lists?
 
You have to set cars in your garage to favourites in order to drive them online.
 
Thank you for your reply, but I wasn't referring to the list of cars that I need to choose one from that list in order to drive.
I was referring to creating a list of cars (or a single car) that is allowed to be used in the race I create.
So, I want to create a room-lobby which allow only one specific car out of my list (which is already marked as favorite), the problem is that my cars are not listed, and the list is limited (52 in total) - where is that list came from?
 
In that case then I'm not sure how that functionality works. But I'm pretty sure that list of 52 cars is the standard list of cars PD have made available to everyone to use in online mode in addition to their favourited cars.

I was looking in that thread you mention, but I'm still confused regarding the car option. That guy was asking about further limitations of power/weight etc.

When creating an online race. Does it have some kind of pre-loaded recommended PD garage (with 52 cars as I saw) that I can only choose a car to be a single-make race, or, is there any way I could choose a car from my garage as the single-make-online-race limitation?

If not, does the only way would be (as BKViper noted in the other post) to set a room with no car limitation, tell my friends which car to choose (set the car limitation in the room title) and kick others which are not in that car?
 
As far as I know YossiGab, you can only choose 'specific' cars from the Recommended list. Using cars from your favorites tab, they can only be restricted by power and weight.

1. its never updated, its always the same cars.
2. You can't
