My black edition runs an 8.914 on route x. At Indy when I race people with slower times the beat me?! Is it just my reaction time or something else?...

There connection is most likely better then yours so they see ghost a tad but sooner then you

Try some different button combo's that can help a lot. I use L3 as handbrake for drag but other people use whatever feels best and gives best reaction time. I know R1's popular too.

Make sure you use handbrake to launch and not brake.

I use my normal brakes. I have them set to L2 and I only hold the button down enough to keep the car still, maybe 1/4 of the little red bar on your HUD. I have ben told many different things on how to get a better launch but I have yet to try them out.
