I don't consider myself a professional photographer, in real life or in GT5; however I know many tricks to making a good photo (in GT5), and therefore I decided to share my best photos on a certain site.

However, I got comments on how the rule "no screenshots" was put in place; but, in my opinion, they weren't screenshots.

My question, is, what do the GT5 photos count as? Screenshots? I'm sure they're not.

Go buy an SLR and use it on a track. You'll get your answer. But I agree with you, I also don't consider you to be a professional photographer, in real life nor in GT5.

But what would you call the pictures? In-game photographs?

they're not screenshots but they are also not pictures..its hard to define..
you can upload to "picasa" and share wherever u want. i almost sure no one will bother you..

im not a profesional photographer in real life.
but i am good.
in game i dident get how to shoot right. i mean
i aim good and all but almost every time the photo is blurb..any tips?

tnx

They're still screenshots - you're manipulating variables in a game. It's no different to hitting [prt scr] on a pc then pasting the result into ms paint. That's not to say there aren't some great shots and some pretty accomplished screen snappers. I suspect some of the composition, timing and aesthetic skills cross over into real photography. In the end tho, it's still a computer generated image, you manipulate the parameters, it appears on your screen and you capture it.

[IMHO]

have you tried setting your shutter speed and setting your f stops before you start shooting. you can also set the your lens for your distance. you can adjust these after the fact too but it is best to start with a good shoot!:sly:👍

Photography is the art, science and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either electronically by means of an image sensor or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. Typically, a lens is used to focus the light reflected or emitted from objects into a real image on the light-sensitive surface inside a camera during a timed exposure.
