Hello, I am a happy owner of a new g27. but I have a couple of questions, firstly, why, when the back kicks out, does the steering wheel start turning wildly and I have absolutely no controll. I just got back from a track meet the other day and while riding, when someones back end slid out, he had plenty of control. also, is there a more secure was to hold the shifter, it has frequently fallen of the temp. table mount I use. The table isn't slick.

Also, here is undeniable info about the G27,

Gettin used to it: 3-5 drives W/ manual. Matching old lap times: 1-2 weeks. Improving lap times: 1-2 months. Start to have fun: as soon as you use it.

This may sound rude but you need practice to be controling a drift properly you cant just get on the wheel and expect to drive like a pro. 👍

For the shifter, you can try putting some of that rubber non-slip matting stuff under the shifter and where the clamps are (like thats on some shelves or cabinets, and what Frex ships their shifters with, like this, may be able to find it cheaper, but thats just what came up with a quick search.)

Or, if you want to drill, there are holes on the bottom to hard mount the shifter (uses m6 screws, same as the wheel and pedals)
