Get a small desk or knock a frame together that you can mount it on, you don't need anything fancy but don't use it on your lap.

well, my dad has a bunch of spare wood, i guess i can slap something together, if i ever get it. (i also wonder why i bother to get it now, seeing as im not gonna mod my PS2 for GT4p... ill always have PC games and GT3.)

It works good for GT3 but I don't think you can use the 900 degree mode. Also if you have Live for speed on your PC it's great.

I'll check. I haven't seen it yet at the obvious stores like best buy. I'm wondering when they're going to get it.

Two words, IRONING BOARD

i dont want to risk my 150 dollar investment with a shaky platform. i was either gonna buy this with my gift cards, or an x-box.

Do you have Gamestop in your area? That's where I got mine.

my gamestop said they werent gonna get the wheel in anytime soon.

i have another question, in 900 degree mode, when you accelerate out of a turn, does the wheel automatically go back like a real wheel?

Get the wheel, having an X-Box is all well and good, but rather than have two consoles with good - great games, why not make the great games on the PS2 next to perfect. Also the wheell does center itself.

You must have a pretty ropey ironing board - there's no way in hell mine would ever collapse. I have it adjusted so it's low down like a sports-ironing board too...

Heres a link to a cheap cockpit I built mine for about 30 U.S. dollars then I got two seats from a toyota celica gt for 20 buck out of the junk yard .the seats were in great shape no rips or stains .http://www.firetooth.net/ This guy has the templates free to download

Thanks for that link Hucker that looks like a pretty high quality low maintenance, and low cost pit there. The PDF's are a bit confusing though and I don't have 5 black ink cartridges to print out all those pictures. Pasting them together for what looks like a crude template, is not my idea of fun either. I think i'll just wing it from those diagrams but hopefully I can just find some room to place a cockpit hehe...

Hyperglide I made the seat and wheel sections seprate so it would be easier to move to the spare room when not in use,and the extra seat comes in handy when friends come over to watch movies
