AKA Crazy 'Quick Match' Bugs. Please comment and post yours. But I've never seen this...

After a race around the Nurburgring GP/D course in which I DNF (Yes, because I'm horribad) the next match loads up.

I am stuck in the Track Preview mode. Only the car positions are shown... and slowly we come out of pit at idle speeds. I'm still waiting to go into warm-up. The 4 players on track are shown with their respective blue arrows on the map, and me with a red (so I thought), idling out toward the first hairpin.

In a moment of impatience, maybe 1 minute or so in waiting to load, I step on the gas pedal and see my Z4 scoot off into the sand trap before the first big hairpin. I turn the wheel and, still in preview mode from probably 200 yards away, I'm controlling the car. On the mini map, it was moving with one of the blue arrows instead of red on my command.

My screen showed 1-4mph change in speed, yet I was controlling the Z4 around the track via the mini-map in the Preview mode. I could only see the car when the preview cycled to that part of the track. I almost managed a full lap had I not gotten stuck on the chicane.

Almost toward the finish line in my top-down-map-only run, all the display info, map rankings, time, disappeared and I had to quit out of GT6 via the PS button.


Anyone experienced this? I'm not much of an online gamer, but GT6 has been pretty damn crazy in terms of online bugs / glitches.

Had a guy finish just behind me at Toscana and he didn't finish on the leader board just slipped down the board. So that glitch isn't totally fixed. Great rally comp this arvo though.
 
I've had the car go into auto-drive coming out of the pits.

Idk if it's still happening after the patch, I'm sorry UPDATE they released.

To test, enter track and exit right after the car starts moving, change a driving option (I was always forgetting to turn off TCS) and then go back into warmup. Without fail, everytime, the car would autodrive after pit lane exit.

The ghosts of past bspec Bobs I think.
 
I was driving at Fuji in the first GT500 event with ABS off, but when I brake hard in the first curve, far away from my usual braking point, the car doesn't lock the brakes... maybe some hidden assist are behind Quick Match Mode, IMO the car has a different feeling in this mode, in traction and grip too.

I don't now if this maybe treated as some kind of anomaly but for sure, is something to remark.
 
I may be imagining, but I think 'boost' is on in these races to keep them close. In the newest gt500 event at Trial Mountain, I purposely waited for the field to pull away. I gave it 5 seconds at least, just idling at the start line. I was able to catch the leader, who had a 11 second gap at the first split time, and pass him at the entrance to the 2nd tunnel. My lap times were 1:21 and 1:23 on lap 2 and 3. Thats way faster than my previous race, where I ran with the pack starting 4th. I was turning 1:26's. Anyone else experience this?

Heres mine:

Just finished a race in 1st. The end stats came up with everyones time gap with a timer counting down to the next preparation/race.. When this timer closed in to 0, me and another guy suddenly jumped down a few spots on the end stats saying we ended race with 1 lap gap.

timer reached 0 and while most ppl probably advanced to the next race, Im sitting here watching the track like when you do during the preparation time. Theres no meny. I can see one car on the track, and I can bring up the start/pause menu wich gives me three options: Continue, quick options, and exit. Nothing will happen when I hit the exit button so Im basically just stuck in here. Been waiting for some time now, guess I have to restart the game (ps button, end game).

Edit: Ended the game with the PS button. Two races were done during this session, where I ended in 1st. both races. Got no credits rewarded (obiously, game didnt save lol)

It all seems so GD random, I don't know if I could keep up with the random glitches. I will say that after the initial hiccups, It's been fairly stable. Although I did get a "Disconnected from server" right before I was to be awarded my 2nd place prize earlier tonight. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
I entered the 86/brz/frs race on fuji,finished the race,exited,then entered the one with the group c cars,picked my car then after matchmaking was complete,went too warmup with everyone else and lo and behold i'm still driving a brz:eek::confused: Needless to say,i lost that one haha.
