Dunno if you've tried it already Dan, but you can use the wheel without force feedback by unplugging the power cable. It takes a bit of getting used to, but you can pretty much spin the wheel back and forth ... might make the one-handed deal a bit easier :D[/QUOTE I own many racing games as of yet I haven't found a game that the wheel can't be changed frm partial turn to multi turn or vice versa.(push R3+select+right paddle) This change makes the wheel too sensetive on gt4, and without the feedback is too vague and I can't do it effectively.

THANKS MUCH FOR THINKING OF ME!!!!!!!!

Mild feedback, non-active steering with a simulation and a well padded baseball- driving glove does well.👍

A few laps tonight and it's back to you again East :sly:

46.505 / 1'20.062 - 1'58.266 👍

This combo is real cool and my fave quick pick so far

Damn Ron! That is insane :scared: Great times from East as well 👍 I'm gonna run a few laps on it tonight but I think I'm around 06' atm, I ran a short few days back......

I probably wont have another run at this trial (sorry), great run though Mr P, very good 👍

Wow  That's just ridiculous, Ron! I'm always amazed at how much time there always seems to be at this track ... I'm very curious where I'm losing all that time (1.5secs), as I didn't see any obvious mistakes in my lap

Here's my NTSC replay Luke ... feel free to check it out 👍 I will say my last turn up the hill towards the finish line is pretty much as good and fast as I could get it crossing the line at 65-66mph

Welcome, OldDriverDan. :) Always nice to see another mature racer around.
Your name seems vaguely familiar. Have you raced here before under another name?

Amazing times, Ron and East. 👍 You must have bloody good nerves. :scared:

Also a great time from you 240drift. Are you a verified racer?

My first session gave this:

48.566
1'13.241
2'04.167

I'm pretty sure I'm not a verified racer. How do I become one? Thanks.

Sorry for being unclear, 240drift.

Just wanted to know if you had any kind of a replay device. Like a MAX-drive or something similar?

My sister's comp has a pretty good ATI AIW. I could probably record the replay with the the aux inputs on the card if necessary.

Well I just ask, because you are fast and I never have raced you before. And most people at your speed have some sort of replay device. And posting replays is a very fast way of gaining credibility. 👍

But please note, that this is not a formal request for you to verify your time at all. This is after all a relaxed series and I'm just a curious old bastard. ;)

Its all good; I'll definately get the reply recorded and posted by tomorrow. The view from behind the car would be best for this correct? And also, does anyone know any good, free video hosting sites?

WELL!!!! Dropped 2 seconds today. Leaning to handle that car and give it a little slip to and fro(back and forth). 2.07.097 is the new time. still haven't posted a time on the next quick pick yet, still trying to get a good time in at Montegi.
My sectre times were:
TI-.49.183
T2-1.25.170

Its amazing how much more you would improve again with a maxdrive and be able to follow the replay of your choice around the track, watching an mpeg can only do so much! .. but running side by side with a rival on track is where you start to tear chunks from your laps ;) ... glad it helped you find some faster lines mate
