I am doing a history research project so I just need some proof about this statement that says that "it would be true to say that the best writers around from the tensest situations" like war, you know what I mean.

If you know some writers that made up their fame in their works straight up from wars, can you give me some examples?

I'm not sure I understand the sentence.

"it would be true to say that the best writers around from the tensest situations" Seems like arose should repace around. Or the sentence should be restructured to include 'have arisen.'

You could look into war correspondents from WW2. Walter Kronkite may be an example.

Hey I didnt realize that, I did put "arise", but I put "around" in it.

Anyways, thanks for your help.
