Is this possible? It's very annoying not being able to reply clearly. So is it possible?

Unfortunately, no, because of the way the forum software handles quoted posts. To make this work, the forum software would include the complete WYSIWYG editor (or whatever editor you have selected in your account options, but that's the default), wreaking havoc on most mobile web browsers.
