R 32 Skyline Proper Hoodview

I prefer the hood view more then any other view, simply because I can see where the front of my car is while making turns and passing people.
 
ugh... there is NO hood view. You guys are mentioning a bunch of phallic cars like the E-Type and the SLR with massive long hoods that can actually be seen well in ROOF cam. Yes, some cars may even have their roof cam angled more downward than most, but the exact POV is still on the roof, not the hood. When driving, you should be looking out over the hood, and any car with good visibility isn't going to block your view with the hood. Sit inside an '011 Mustang GT for example and it's a different story, but generally speaking your view of the hood from the driver's perspective is nothing like any roof cam that shows most of the hood. I repeat, there is NO hood cam in GT5. If there was one on these cars you mention, you'd notice an extra view higher up on the roof when scrolling though views. Is there a fourth view on those standards mentioned? A fifth on the premiums? I don't think so.
 
It's called RoofCam, and was not intended to be a "HoodCam"

There isn't an extra view to toggle through no, but the view on some cars isn't on the roof. Take the Sauber C9 for example, when you toggle through views there is no camera on the roof, that camera view is right on the nose of the car virtually.

So yeah, there are three or four views depending on standard/premium:

Bumper
Incar
3rd Person
roof or other placed camera

The point I'm trying to make is that the fourth camera position is not fixed, it varies car to car.

that ugly thing has a 32" TV and playstation in the rear too lol only noticed this

sorry for going off topic

i noticed one of the standard subaru rally cars has a bonnet cam

its deff not on the roof as the bonnet scoop is sticking out a good bit

cant remember which rally car but
