Just thought I would spark a thread on the overlooked Skyline. I've been dragging this beast for a couple days now and I'm loving it. I see alot of people using R34's but I feel like, if tuned right, the R33 can match up well. Feel free to debate and talk ****, I love the energy these digital cars build over the web.

finally someone that appreciates the R33, i realy don't know why they get so little love in Japan! And its much more fun to drive because its more tail happy than the R34.

But i'm still waiting for the day that PD ads the R33 GTST specII in GT again! Got one in real life so would love to take for some drifting in GT5 :D

I don't get why its so under rated. I personally like the body style of the R33 more than any other skyline. The curves and body lines are so sexy. I wish they would give us wider aftermarket wheels so I can beef up the rear. The R34 is divine but it reminds me of "Fast and Furious" too much, even though the yellow R33 in the first one was mean. I think I'm gonna start creating R33 rooms for SSR cruises and Indy Drags.

Yeah, I'll have to agree... The R33 is my favorite Skyline. Has been since Gran Turismo 1. Like you're saying, it's the best looking Skyline and very nice handling mid-corner... Not as understeery as the R32 or R34. I don't drag much, but I personally find the R33 TC from the 1st DLC unbeatable between 610-620pp especially at Spa & Nurb. Probably my favorite race car(along with the FTO super touring car and Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car)!
