its my fav car on gt2 and gt3. do you think the R390 will be great in GT4 and what do you think of the car in general. also does anyone have a link to a high-res image of the r390 in GT4 that can be used as wallpaper

The R390 was pretty good, I didn't really use it much though, probably because I got a GT1 first. The one thing I can say is that the road version was amazing.

the R390 was pretty good!..i liked it in GT2 becasue there it was as fast as it should be!
...but in GT3,Concept and prologue it´s faster than The Toyota GT-One!!that´s impossible!!
...i don´t want to say that it´s bad but it isn´t just so good or evn better than the GT-One(just look at the lap times at lemans-->they raced at 98 in the same class and GT-one was faster indeed!)

...so it´s a good GT1 racecar but ---for me---only as long as it is slower than the GT-One(what is realistic because in reality it was so,too!)

guys seriously...if i start opening threads up for every car i wanna see a render shot, a screenshot, a GT4 photo mode shot, a video and a menu screenshot then well be sittin here until the day GT6 comes out...when this s**t comes up be happy about it, if its a car you love...even better! but until then lets jst wait and see...and just to clear things up if you have a 390race car fully tuned up against a gt-one fully tuned up the gt-one is way faster...(easily 430 and faster acc. in every gear aka 1369hp compared to 1197hp)
god i love this race series and the people it binds together sharing the passion!

It's funny because for me it was the other way around. I got the R390 first ( the oldest version of the 2, maybe the 1997 one ).
Both R390 ond GT-One are great "ricers" cars. I hope GT4 will include both versions of the R390 as in GT2

The R390 GT1 is not quicker than the GT-One in GT3, go to racing line and pretty much all the MR car records are set with the GT-One and the R390 usually is the second fastest.

....but just when u play and u´re in the first position with let´s say 10 or 20 sec. in front of the second and look back to see who´s 2nd and U SEE THE R390 AND N-O-T THE GT-One!!!...C´MON GUYS DON´T EVEN TRY TO SAY THAT THE R390 WAS BETTER THAN THE GT-One(because it wasn´t i reality at least!)

....i never said that the very cool r390 is somehow bad but it´s just not at the level of the GT-One (that´s why it only reached place 3 in 98 and the GT-one place 2in 99 at LM!)

gt-one lover i give it to you, youre absolutely right! its just a question of preference i like the smooth way the R390 builds its power up compared to the sledgehammer like curve of the GT-One that is without a doubt faster...

but nevertheless take a look here for the top time in Tokyo with MR cars (Formula 1 obviously has it´s own class)
