Of the Standard race cars, does anyone know of any of the same chassis with different variations on livery and/or number? Off the top of my head I can think of the Audi R8 Race Car '01 in red or yellow and the Pescarolo Courage - Judd GV5 Race Car '05 with numbers 17 or 18.

Question answered by way of this list.

I thought that Pesky was 16 or 17... or am I thinking of another Pescarolo?

Depends on how picky you want to be, but the Clio\Lutecia Trophy Race cars are the same chassis and they come with different colours and numbers as well. (Clio is silver and # 3/Lutecia is black and #33)

Audi R8 LMS

Could be the Hybride or Peugeot, but I know for a fact the Judds are #17 and #18 as I have them and am hunting others. And, oh yeah, hard to believe I forgot the LMSs as I just recently finished my collection of colors.

There are a lot, these are only the ones I can think of without actually looking them up.

Pescarolo's (there are 6, 2 of each year)
Mazda RX7 LM
Imprezza Touring Car
Integra Touring Car
Honda S2000 Race Car (might be called Touring car, can't remember)
Audi R8 LMS (10 of them including the Playstation liveried one)
Mitsubishi Super Touring Car

There are quite a few others, I just can't remember them offhand.

seanneedscar
The opel / vauxhall astra / calibra touring cars, the livery is slightly different between them (theres 4)

Really? I thought they axed the Vauxhalls, now I want them.

Almost all of the PD creations have multiple numbers/colors.

In fact, the only exceptions I can think of are the Ford GT race cars.

Wow. Thanks for the input, folks. Now I'll just sit here and chew on my foot because I knew about most of these and yet my brain didn't pick them out sooner.

Do you or does anyone else know the variations of the Hybride and the Peugeot?

There's: Vauxhall Astra Touring car, Vauxhall Astra Super Touring car, Vauxhall Calibra Touring car, Vauxhall Calibra Super Touring car, Opel Astra Touring car, Opel Astra Super Touring car, Opel Calibra Touring car, Opel Calibra Super Touring car.

So there's 6. 👍

I am pretty sure the Vauxhalls have only "Super Touring Car", and only the Vauxhalls have Super Touring in the name. So no Super Touring Opels.

There's only 4. Also you typed 8 and said 6. :p

Does the Peugeot 908 count?

Does the Peugeot 908 count?

It counts as having multiple liveries but I narrowed my original question to Standards as the Premiums are easier to find and it helps to eliminate a whole lot of Nascar and Super GT chassis. Nothing personal there, there's just a lot.

True.

The Audi R8 race car. (Not LMS) '01? Silver and can have either red or yellow highlights.

I didnt get as specific as to say the primary color was silver, but it was implied. ;)

As for the Impreza Super Touring Car, what colors does it come in other than white and orange? It's been bugging me.

Thing is, technically, the three GT's, the LM, LM Spec II and Spec II test car are very far removed from each other.

I know, but my point was more along the lines of how they each only came in one number/livery rather than the multiple ones per model like most of the other PD race cars do.

Those are 4 different cars, not 4 color/number variations of the same car. There is only 1 Opel Astra Touring car, same for the others.

There's already a post on this site listing all unpaintable cars and variants at the top of the forum so there's no need to guess. Just print it and tick them off as you buy them. That's what I'm doing. I think the only 2 cars missing that can't be painted are the "Honda Today G 1985" and the "Suzuki Alto Works RS-Z 1997". There is also a list somewhere that says which cars lose stripes, have two tones (like veyron) etc. but I can't remember where I got that one.

I guess it serves me right for assuming it wouldn't show all number and color variations. I actually thought of that thread but because of that assumption I didn't go searching for it. Thanks though.

I didn't originally assume it showed the variants either. I think they should rename it to make it more obvious because it is very helpful.
