Race Cars Mods

dose any body no if this is to be incuded in gt4. Maybe a more advanced version of what they had in gt2.

I don't think anythings been said about race mods specifically, but PD has said you will be able to alter the appearence of the car and KY said he wanted to bring the race mods back.

it would be cool building your own race from a base car and maybe getting sponiship deals and stuff. i also think they should bring nack the power limits that had on gt 2 for events.

if GT4 doesn't have race mods I'll be very dissapointed. Its like the finishing touch to your tuned car especially fun if you've upgraded a really crappy car.

And yeah HP restrictions definately need to make a return I think

i also think maybe a Entry Fee for all the events that gets higher as the difficulty goes up.

Race mods are returning, that's definite. I'm hoping there will be more modification options to your race mods than just colour and style

i hope all of the cars have race car mods. Do u think that is likly.
MY ideas for it.
After the 3 stages of weight loss you should have the race mod option but comes with no sponsoship on it just plane in the coulour of your choice.
Then depending on your peformance you can get several sponsership deals which are plasted on your car. And the cash given to you.
complex but could it work.

I've only read that body kits wll be available for some cars, PD did'nt specify wether they were race mods, you could presume they are which they probably are but PD's wording could mean a couple of things.

And James1985's idea about the sponsorship, I like that idea it would make you drive all your cars so you get sponsor for all of them as well as giving the car decals and getting sponsorship money, it is possible but I doubt it will be in GT4, PD don't have the time to implement anything like this, GT5 maybe.

Yeah that's what i heard, but i'm guessing that the kits will be available for nearly every single production car this side of 1980. The old cars will not have kits, cos that'll look crap.

sounds like you are describing a nascar game to me ,dirt to daytona you start out with a basic car and work your way through the ranks of local dirt track ,then when you modify your car good enough to win you get sponsoership to modifieds then trucks then cup cars not a bad game

It was from Yamuchi's own mouth in this month's issue of PSM Magazine. The cars with the racing mod will be limited to certain cars like the RX-8, Nissan Z, etc. He said not all the cars will have racing mods.

Wish that most of em have racing mods like in GT2, otherwise it'd be pretty crap.

If they don't have the time to put race mods on every car they should concentrate on cars that don't have racing variations like the Skylines and Supra's, I'd love to get a race modded V8 Vantage or Vanquish.

What I read in my PSM magazine this month (the UK one) was that the spoilers etc. (not racig mods) will only be for the main stream cars like S2000's, Supras, Skylines etc. All they've said on the racing mods so far is that they are going to make a come back and they're supposed to be a lot more advanced version of the racing mods in GT2.

bout time they came back, gt3 could of used them, spice up some the lancers and skylines and whatnot.
