Race engineer

Can anyone help? I'm pretty new to project cars so not sure how to sort the race engineers voice as I can't hear him when I have my headset on I'm using the Sony pulse headset and I'm on ps4.

I’ve posted this in a few forums without getting a solution, I have steelseries p800 headset which works via optical cable and Bluetooth and also TB 800 Elites, both work fine with other games such as the dirt series which has a co driver.
I seem to remembered PC1 had the same problem but I never found the fix.
I play with the controller (DS4) turned of and use the T300 to control the game but still no crew chief in my headset.
GTA5 is another game in which when you got an in game call it would come through the DS4 speaker but it had an in game option to turn it of so that it would come through the headset, but I can’t find this option in the PC2 menus.

Only been playing pc1 for a few weeks before pc2 came out and had the same problem on that but because I'm new to the game I thought I was just being stupid and couldn't find it in the opinions. it's not a game changer but would be nice to hear what he's saying

Try setting "output all audio to headphones" or something like that in the ps4 settings. Should fix it but then you can't adjust game and chat volume separately anymore. Works at least with Turtle Beach and Lucid sound headphones I think. Hopefully they will fix it..

Thanks for that I appreciate that that would help but then it creates a problem with chat, I don’t understand why it has to be different to every other game on the Ps4. But thank you for your help.

Yep, I'm with you on this.. Don't really want to use that "fix" either..
