I know that @KuniKino****a had wanted to switch to Honda after it had been announced. But look at the Chevy dominance. I think having a cap on how many a manufacturer could field would have been great.
 
As long as there isn't a Manufacturer title (or if there is, as long as it is like the WSCC Engine Championship) and doesn't combine all the points, I think it is alright.
 
I'm gonna hop in and say it was an honor to be in the booth for the race. It was well worth the stress and frustration I think and I'm certain it'll live up to the Daytona charm. Thanks @nascarfan1400 for the opportunity to do so and can't forget @trobes29 who hoped in with us to endure it. I had fun.
 
I'm just waiting for my series logo to send in the commercial. It will look amateur-ish but it will be funny. :lol:
 
At least there's now some actual progress being made behind the scenes. I should catch the 400 on Sunday before leaving for Canada the following Monday/Tuesday.
 
If I had the video editing ability, my series commercial would be the dankest thing :lol:, unfortunately I don't know how to so you'll have to settle for a basic image :lol:
 
I just noticed three things:

  1. This thread has over 100 pages. No official points paying event has been done (that's about to change though).
  2. This thread is a year old. :lol:
  3. Nas still got my team name wrong on the spotter guide. :lol: :mad:

Makes it hilarious when you compare it to IndyCar.
1) RACE GTPFS has 104 pages with 0 points races done. VRR STICS has 102 pages with 15 points events done.
2) RACE GTPFS S2 page was made March 30th, 2015. VRR STICS 2016 page was made June 12th, 2016.
3) At least I kept up to date on the roster changes :sly:

In all seriousness, I'm excited to see how Daytona went. Hopefully I actually amount to something on the superspeedways.
 
I probably either crashed or finished way down the order.

Also the OPs have been updated to v2.0.0, and it includes the most up to date version of the schedule. There is a debate between Old Spice Speedway (Road Course), which would be the only other fictitious track aside from Armory Digital, and Charlotte Motor Speedway. A lot of people are saying no to Old Spice, a lot of people are saying yes. I'm considering putting it to a public vote.

I agree, and it's more entertaining than even, dare I say it, Watkins Glen. The Safety is great with SAFER Barriers all around the circuit, but others beg to differ.

That depends. Nas, up to now, has been pretty passive on team and manu title points. S1 used the system I knew, a mimic of the old F1 setup, but NASCAR in reality switched. They now take the points of the highest finishing represenative straight-off, bonus points included.

That said, give me a system that works and I'll do the rest.

Rumor apparently is that a couple people would leave the series over it. Im not sure as to if that was a joke or not..

If people seriously leave the series over it, then honestly they are either not invested enough in the series to take it's schedule seriously or are in too invested in something that ultimately, they have no control over and doesn't affect them that much.

Hey now. If it wasn't for @Skython and @samurai8juice not yet settling on what races to split as part time drivers, and only having about 20GB on my hard drive ATM, I would have already ran both Watkins Glen and Auto Club
 
My take on the Charlotte/Old Spice matter. The former is real but I don't remember anything from this series racing there, the other is fictional but a road course. Realism isn't a major aspect of the series, but if I'm honest Charlotte can be a challenge, Old Spice has never been a favorite of mine. CMS is my vote unless someone can persuade me otherwise.
