CWR #22 Team Announces New Partnership

In all of the commotion surrounding the 2015 Season, CWR has made a new partnership with sponsor Martini®. Because of that, @RACECAR has been busy at work designing a secondary paint scheme for the #22. Earlier today, he just finished up the design, and revealed it to CWR. The driver of the #22, @GTRacer22, said the following. "I love the new scheme, and the vibrant colors will help it stand out from the pack. It'll look great up in front of the field!" Without further ado, here is the new Martini® livery for the #22 car.

Martini livery looks great, just not sure on the grey?? Would look much better in white IMO!

You guys have the car viewer files for the 2014-2015 cars?

I painted it based on the example @GTRacer22 gave me. Also, not really sure how to do reflective layers so theres that,

Reflective would've looked cool, though!

So, remember when i said i wanted to make an 8-bit-ish Chevy SS?

Wasn't kidding, actually. Oh, and it comes in 512x512! and in 512x512 only!
......Not bad

Only takes 81 KB!
Why not use the original Nintendo as the sponsor - complete with 8-bit Mario and Luigi?

You see, i was considering that.... and slid away from the idea. The regular 8-bit SS Template is a bit... Skidgy.
By skidgy, i mean "using the pencil tool with the same color as base tool instead of the eraser", and no dark-enough blue in the NES palette, to make the grey somewhat stand out.

Besides, the stickers are generic black and white, and according to me, making a few circles and taking an 8-bit font with 4 letters is easier than spelling out the entire name of a system and making a system from scratch.
I also took the system restrictions into consideration a bit, imagining as if this was a car in the NES, not a car made to look like it was outta the NES Look at the fuel cap area, and the fact that there isn't a big SS thingy on the back.

I think I have an idea for the Pontiac Template. Give me some with it and I think I've got a simple fix for it.

Annnnnnd, here it is:

Took some resizing, Manipulating and other things, but there it is. Hope you Pontiac guys love it.

Well, first order of business would be making this a PSD instead of a PNG.
I like Pontiacs too. You're supposed to respect dead people. Or marques.
And you don't really need Four roof flaps, do ya? or do ya?
The grill bit around the grill tape is pretty weird too
Also the trunk outline could be straight i think, you only copypaste certain bits not all the bits.
We don't need the square things from the 2013 template on the bit of the hood, and could potentially use the outline of the 2013 dark grey-ish bit that nearly touched the front window
Might try to make my own version

Its not quite final, which is why its just png.

Ah. no need, already decided to make (partially) mine after seeing yours.

Although it might lack the GT badge from your version.
But if there is one complaint i could file against the 2013 template of the G8, it is that there are no side rear-lights.
...And the lower grill is not wide enough.

Got rid of the additional lines. Also, showing off the short track brake ducts I've added (with one of the grille tape layers):

And here's the download

It is pretty nice. However, i feel alot more could have been done with it....

But i can't seem to put my finger on what it is!
Hmmm...
Actually, those last two sentences sounded a bit rude. The ducts are kinda nice however.

I love how i managed to turn this into "Who can make the best Pontiac G8" competition.
But the metallic paint just leaves a dent that looks like the Chevy SS' side.

You sorta did, but at least us Pontiac drivers now have a much better G8 template. So in that aspect, it's a good thing that you spurred RACECAR into improving his original template.

This isn't even its final form!
Now watch someone come in with a G6 template.
And, HEY! atleast my thing looks slightly less dated!

Wasn't really sure how to alter that without making it look tacky so I'm sorta stuck with it. Funny thing is that line is essentially a reprofiled G8 line, which isn't that shocking considering what the Chevy SS actually is ;)
