I think it depends how old is the computer and graphic card, on mine the 1024 looks real good and the 2048 looks blurry on some of the angles you looking at the car from.
 
Why not stretch the template beforehand? It has worked for me.
 
Novel idea here, but what about painting on 1024x? Is there really that noticeable of a difference after being put in game, recorded and compressed?

I'd like to see a video uploaded by you with 2 cars in game in a race, with the exact same scheme with one difference (Spoiler color for example). One painted on the regular 1024x template provided by Mystical, and one with the template stretched to 2048x. Then have us try and vote which one we think is which

Well, if you paint it 1024x, but the game stretches it to 2048x, then it would blur it anyway.

All schemes I do are done at 2048x regardless. I can throw two quick ones together if need be.

For the video, you should do like a 5 lap race with them, and use both the TV/Spectator cameras and the up close cameras
 
Video rendered. Will be uploaded in a few days. From what I see, resize the templates to 2048 and then paint, because the shading and parts aren't much different, but the scheme itself is still 2048, so it looks better.

@Skython I found a nice Dart. It's a NOS Energy Drink scheme. If you want I can show you it and it can be one of your schemes?

I'm making my own livery (liveries?). You posted up a template the other day, I've been playing around with it.

Great cars, did you make the bases yourself? I usually don't :lol: because I lack the artistic ability to do complex things like that :lol:
 
I've just had a brainwave for Jacksepticeye and Markiplier schemes for my next 2 liveries. Just need someone willing enough to help make them.

The only one I didn't edit was the Valvoline one from Stunod; all the other ones are edited in some way. I made the Hot Wheels and Hoonigan bases myself (sorta, for the Hoonigan one I used some of the NOS base from Stunod), and I edited the M&M's (Stunod) and Dollar General (Outlaw) ones to fit with the 2015 Camry.

I'll put a link up later.

The most I'll usually do is find a base for another mod and then fit it to the template I need (Like mine & @DurWinning's car I took the flames from the Truck base for your series :lol:)
