Still better than Hughes.
Still better than Dial-Up.
Nas lives in Ponyland in the mountains and can only get dial-up. No wonder why it takes him forever!

In before new race called the Flavortown 300.The #77 CWR Team is proud to announce yet another sponsor signing on...Guy Fieri!
Interviewer: What made you want to bring on such an A+++ TV Star such as Guy Fieri?
Team: We just love him. We love his large physique along with the frosty hair and the goatee. This is all very representative of what we stand for as a team.
Interviewer: Well than what do you stand for as a team?
Team: 'Merica.
Interviewer: When will we see this new Guy Fieri sponsorship in action?
Team: You will see the Fieri Mobile at a future date, undisclosed at this time.
Interviewer: Will this conflict with any current sponsorship deals?
Team: Only Rex Ryan. He is really excited to see his giant face on the front of the car.
Interviewer: That's all, thanks for your time.
Team: Go home.
Interviewer: You heard it hear first.![]()
Internet is that bad in Texas?
Image is broke on my end, and only HughesNet, and only my house apparently. Currently at parents because said house is without water ATM, though I did figure out why YouTube stopped working entirely. Apparently with the latest rash of updates, using "compatability view" which for a time was the only way this particular PC would allow it to work, all of a sudden kept it from working. Still doesn't explain why a nearly new PC struggles to load videos at 240p on the same bloody connection, and I still haven't heard from them again. Guess who's never going on one of my cars. The #77 CWR Team is proud to announce yet another sponsor signing on...Guy Fieri!

I think, although I could be wrong, that Nas in an attempt to simulate a different kind of tire changed something in the track settings, which as a result screwed with the AI's pitting strategy. What the 🤬 was that 🤬 🤬?! As if it wasn't embarrassing enough to YET A:censored:GAIN plummet through the field like I only had five cylinders, AT :censored HOME NONE THE LESS, but then all but a VERY select few don't get 🤬 in the 🤬 by a glitchy as 🤬 timing system just dumps molten salt all over us. As if that wasn't enough, GT916 manages to turn the whole thing into a cakewalk. He did what he's supposed to yeah, and yeah I'm a little-lot 🤬 so it doesn't mean much, but knowing you CAN challenge for the win only to have something screw you out of it, you may as well rip my 🤬 heart out already. And I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling that way...🤬
Nas, eventually you're gonna have to update the labels on stuff. Race wise, that one was...crap. Sorry, but any race with screwy circumstances that don't affect everyone equally just kills all my enthusiasm for it. The VRR Motegi race was the same for me, and yes I was involved in both but it doesn't matter. If that's how the track is then...then I guess Texas tracks are doomed to failure and should be removed.
This was the reason Texas was removed from the VRR calendars.Seeing what happens early on in the race, it's safe to assume I had a bad day at Texas. Perhaps people are right, Texas just doesn't bode well in terms of luck for any series, not just Nas'. And Texas is where some of my favorite fictional characters (cough Gemini Sunrise cough) come from, which only makes me sadder... It was a garbage race for me, defintely a bad highlight of my season so far. One dumb crash followed by being involved in another dumb crash, that's just beyond ridiculous...
But if the track just won't work properly, I can't really vouch for its place in the series calendar. It looks nice and it works, but it doesn't work all that well. Unless someone manages to tweak the track's file into ending this issue once and for all, of course.
And Turn 1 here is another Calamity corner, given we had not one but TWO Big Ones in this race. Imagine when Sebring rolls along...
After VRR moved their race to Vegas, I figured that would be the case. Guess if I ever want to see a not-crap race out of either TMS or COTA, I'll have to learn how to make them work.Actually that's just Texas being broken.
It looks like last year's, IIRC you won Daytona 2 last season with it as well. As for the Arby's car, I did make it so you might ask someone who isn't a jinx to make a better one. Finally a Top 10, must've been the decals. I knew Arby's was cursed.
...I didn't even know I had a Dairy Queen car. Must be from last year. Probably the best looking scheme out of all of them though.
@Clayton Hardy has been working on Texas' ini. COTA was removed from VRR because the track and replay were corrupted and unreplaceable. After VRR moved their race to Vegas, I figured that would be the case. I'd forgotten COTA was even on the schedule. That all said, the few B-spec races I've seen we're definitely not that great anyway.@Clayton Hardy has been working on Texas' ini. COTA was removed from VRR because the track and replay were corrupted and unreplaceable.
Partial as I may be due to locale, until a version surfaces that isn't broken I'm with you.I was skeptical on Texas and this was pretty much all the failure I needed to see. Safe to say we won't be back.
