More big news from our Sponsors:

Guy Fieri will be guest driving Phoenix! We are excited to announce such news!

Guy Fieri, the pioneer in painted hair, and of course, who could forget Flavortown, is already a legend, and this GTPFS opportunity will only make him more of a legend.

A top 10 finish and he drives next week!

Its not even worth asking why exactly, is it?

Indeed, it IS Jahgee after all. Questions aren't meant to be even slightly considered once that name is thrown into the proverbial hat...

I didn't make it BTW, I saw it on nnracing, thought it was hilarious and decided to post it

Dear lord:

here is Dale juner throwback skeem for darlington if his head feels better hes honnoring his longtime sponsor budddwyer since they both have hurting heads

I honestly just can't.

This is why the Internet needs an age limit.
How old do you think the person who made that was? They'd have to be pretty old, I'd imagine, to make a reference to a 1980's politician like that

Also shout out to the new race that hasn't been posted yet

19:20 - Went from almost right to not at all

12th ain't bad for a quiet race, especially after starting way down in 33rd.

Its official, it ain't a GTPFS race unless I get involved in something :indiff:

At this point, a flow chart would be suitable.

RACE TV: We are here once again with RESHIRAM5 who was the points leader but not anymore after a poor finish today

RESHIRAM5: Hahahaha, hey there. Yeah my race today was horribe but honestly, I'm just happy that I pulled out of the 40s. Sure I lost the points lead but I figured that unless I start winning, it wasn't going to stay.

RACE TV: Not much happened with you today, so lets just your opinion on the track.

RESHIRAM5: Overrated, the track is better than Texas but it isn't as good as the others. Racing was relatively boring until the last second where @vetteman24 pretty much did an RKO out of nowhere. The Pit boxes are way too small, it was so uncomfortable pitting because of the chances you have of hitting other drivers and pretty much murdering peoples pit crew.

Yeah I did that pun, sue me :p

And wow, the BC tribute cars were rather unlucky, no? Nas got spun out by Guy Fieri, RACECAR had a pit lane accident... Paying respects to Brian is noble, don't get me wrong, but man were those races messy. In fact, the entire race was messy in terms of clean racing; a lot of side contact plus pushing and shoving, including Angel getting blasted on the side and answering back like only Angel would... I must admit, that was kinda funny. Maybe because of how realistic it looks! Despite it all, it's commendable that the only DNF in the entire race was caused by a Pontiac explosion, even when there were so many darn crashes.

And yet somehow, despite having a nice pit lane roadblock in form of Gerarghini's car (who seemingly forgot to rest before the race given how sleepy his driving looked), I got a top 5 finish... Of course, it hurts that the last caution shafted me and put Harsk on the top position, not to mention making me lose the chance of a podium finish. Still, given how terrible my last races were, I can gladly take a top 5 finish for now...

Wow! What a finish to the Subway 250! Awesome race. Congratulations to the winner.

Race TV: We're here with owner/driver of the #50 Bandit Chippers Ford Swiftsmith. Who managed to rally to a 3rd place finish. So Smith how does that feel?

Smith: Feels great especially considering the fact we haven't had the season we wanted. Much like last season we just keep ending up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Race TV: From a team owners prospective what does this race mean to you?

Smith: It means a lot considering that last week the entire team was taken out in one wreck. Plus we've had a car every week looking at a win and just couldn't get it done or got involved in a wreck while fighting for the lead. So I'm glad all of us finished and managed to get two cars within the top 10.

Race TV: There you have it folks we'll see you next week in Las Vegas.

RACE TV: We're here with RACECAR, who once again has found trouble.

RACECAR: Hehe, more like Trouble just has my number and my address. I move, it moves. Lady luck wants nothing to do with me this season.

RACE TV: Before that, you seemed to have had a good run at the beginning. How was the car?

RACECAR: Our car was somewhere between a good short run car and long run car. We were running up there in the top 10, which is way better then what we were doing last year.

RACE TV: Care to explain what happened on pit road?

RACECAR: Just wasn't expecting my good Friend BK Glover to make such a wide swing out the box. Not sure what the spotter told him but just caught me off. Not mad about it since it didn't really affect our car performance wise, just made the hood not right but our crew fixed it like it was new.

RACE TV: Of course, the incident with JockeP22 looked to be the worst one. What happened there?

RACECAR: Got forced up there and I kinda couldn't go any further hen the wall so not sure what he was trying to accomplish pinching me so hard. Kinda what happens when a whole line gets slowed up by who knows who. Seems appropriate Las Vegas is Next week because at this point, the whole TTC team needs to role the dice at this point to get some sort of improvement.

RACE TV
: Very True. RACE with a 22nd finish but clearly the pace for better

Also, ROTY points after Texas is up here. ROTY points after Pheonix to be added later.

Darlington, SC

We have caught up now with the man himself, nascarfan, seen leaving the final meeting regarding the theme for Darlington this year, Nas, what can you report at this point?

Well after much thought and debate, we have concluded that the 2016 theme for GTPFS at Darlington will be a Battle of the Bands. Each driver will be allowed to paint a car with one, two, even 3 bands or musical artists. The scheme will not count towards the current 5 scheme limit, and Scheme tga's and pdn/psd's will not yet be accepted. The date for that will be announced later. As for right now, drivers will be advised to add to a growing list following a format posted below. This is exciting, because we get to see a lot of creativity here, and the fans of course, will enjoy this, aswell. We are currently working with several musical acts to make the weekend festivities fun, and draw more attention to the series. I am very much looking forward to what comes out of this, and can't wait.
