  • All head to head races will start from the grid slots 1 and 2, on the start / finish line.
  • The Driver Listed at the top of the pairing will begin first on the grid for Race 1. For Race 2 the positions will swap (whoever started pole for Race 1, will now start second), and if it goes to the final Race 3 it will be back to the original positions.
  • The pairings are made at random.
  • Any interference by non participants (drivers taking part in the public race) during the race will sometimes be unavoidable and should therefore be considered as an unavoidable part of the game.

Moving off the track:
  • When the race begins, it is important that you move off the racing line in a manner that doesn't interfere with those who are competing in the public race.
  • If you are placed on the left side of the grid, you must move off the track and onto the grass. If you are placed on the right side, you must pull over to the pitwall, positioned out the way.
  • This must be done while being careful not to impeded other drivers on track. Please practice steering off the racing line, to be sure you are comfortable with it prior to your actual race.

All drivers are solely responsible for any delay in getting to their grid position. If any driver fails to get to their grid position in due time, then the other driver has the right to commence racing at the 15 second start time.

If both drivers fail to reach their designated grid positions before the 15 second start time, then the start time will begin at 20 seconds after the start of the public race.

Special Instructions:

  • All disputes must be conducted in a gentlemanly manner and in private.
  • The drivers may, at their own discretion, ask another driver to act as a 3rd party observer during their race. The drivers would need to mutually agree upon this, and it is not a requirement.

Not that I'm picky but isn't it time to spell my tag correctly now :sly:

Or maybe there is another GTP guy who actually use the tag GTP_Cohida100? :)

Edit: Oh joy, I just saw who my next opponent is. It was fun while it lasted.

I would just like to say WOW what a great job. Well done on organizing a great event I just have a question when you say the driver on the left starts in position 1 does that relate to the person on the top of the spreadsheet of the web page? Sorry new member this might be common sense to other members.

Thanks Jack. Stupid question just thought I’d ask.

Nice choice  This is gonna be a good one :) Tough car and racing against GTP_Chris! got some experience racing him already and if Im not mistaken Im on the short end of the stick... :scared::nervous:

GTP_Hyperspeed!!! :banghead:

Sure this will be a tough one, that's only if had a chance

Good luck all, looks like stage-2 is somehow a final stage

Good luck to all! I'm out (congrats and thanks to Lin :)) but I wish you all the best of luck.

Good job with the table dranddad. Just to let you know that I misread it - I thought the numbers were the number of race wins i.e. 2-0, or 2-1, but then realised it must mean 1st and 2nd. Don't mean to sound like I'm having a dig - I was just being a lemon.

Good work Jack! I think I'll have a practice for fun with you guys 👍

Hi Obli.

Its ok they denote 1st and 2nd place.

Oh sorry not racing timeattack. Don't know who i'm racing yet.

oh, its an Aussie Racer :scared:

Can be difficult to find a good time. How many hours are you in front of me?
Its 20.34 here right now. :)

That's going to be a intense race between you two :scared: (Mad and MADFORCE). If I manage to advance to round 3 it looks like I'll be faced with a helluva challenge, as I would be paired with the winner of your guys race :nervous:

For now I'll just keep my focus on round 2 and trying to advance though 👍

Well we're GMT +10. So it was 4:34am when you posted that. It's always hard to find a time to race for me in these comps. I'm really hoping I'll be able to connect to races. It's gone rubbish again lately.

Timeattack, i'm not that fast. You'd beat me easy.

GTP_Twisted vs GTP_timeattack

Well, TA was kind enough to give me a present today.

It came on a plate. It had a silver cover on it, and when I lifted it off, there it was - my arse!

Very enjoyable races, if totally humiliating! :sly:

TA took me for 2-0, and I salute him for it - now I know what the mice feel like that my cat brings in

Best of luck in the next round mate 👍

Big thanks to Jack and dranddad for all their efforts too 👍

Thanks for wishing me luck in the next round Llewellyn 👍 Just wanted to thank you for setting up our race date so quickly and without issue

Anyways, I can't wait for next round :sly: This should be one of my most intense tournament battles yet...hopefully I can keep the undefeated (in tournaments) streak going :dopey:

congrats, TA 👍 bad luck, Twisted, to be paired with TA. Better luck next time :)

GTP_Cohiba100 vs PureGT_May

World class surprise ending in this one!!!

Race 1.

MAY and I met up this morning to decide this clash of monstrous proportions. We hooked up the first time and set off on the first race. I took the lead and MAY followed closely on the first lap. At the beginning of the second lap he overtook me and that was the last I saw of him.

Cohiba100 - MAY 0-1

Race 2.

We hooked up the first time and set off on the second race. I took the lead and MAY followed closely on the first lap. At the beginning of the second lap he overtook me and that was the last I saw of him. Unfortunately the host of the race decided to disconnect on the third lap som we had to restart

Race 2 (reprise)

We hooked up the first time and set off on the second race again. I took the lead and MAY followed closely on the first lap. At the beginning of the second lap he overtook me and that was the last I saw of him.

Cohiba100 - MAY 0-2

So my race against the Div 1 Gold racer and Race Event 02 winner resulted in a surprising win for MeAgainstYou. I still don't quite understand how he managed to beat me...

Congrats MAY, you are indeed a world class racer. I raced to the very best of my abilities and it was very far from good enough to be even close to you. I am happy that I actually achieved my goal of staying within 10 seconds of you total race time with some margin. I did an actual race time of 11.38 in both races if you take away the 15 seconds and that is as good as I can manage. Good luck in the future in RoC

Thanks also Jack (and dranddad) for having this event. It was fun while it lasted.
👍👍👍

Well done, MAY 👍
Nothing to be ashamed about, Cohiba. MAY is one of the best out there and almost impossible to beat.
