Hi :dopey: :dunce:

can any one tell me a really good car i could use for the Race of NA Sports race, in the PROFESSIONAL HALL.
I want to know a car thats well priced and really really fast.

Thanks

Mustang SVT Cobra R - you can find a used one for about 40,000 and there's a 6.2 mile one on day 172 (I believe - not sure). Very quick stock and should have no trouble winning.

A Corvette ZR-1 is another good choice, but I believe it is somewhat expensive.

If you want a good challenge pickup a Lotus Elise 111r. With a few minor modifications it will give the NA races a good run with decent Aspec points.

The Acura NSX-concept, you will that car from 1 race and I turned around and used it there, of course I pimped it out, won easily

I did it in the Lotus Elise IIIr (already suggested above by someone else) - you can tune it how you wish, but remember that in the NA races you can't use a Turbo Charger. I also did this series in the Austin Martin Vanquish if I remember correctly. That car definitely doesn't meet your "inexpensive" requirement, and it is probably a bit overpowered for this series, but as NA cars go it is one of my favorites (mostly because it looks and sounds great).

Suzuki GSX-R.
Win it from the Suzuki Concept cup.

Do nothing to the car. It eats NA cars for lunch. Tres Magnifique!

And if you're looking for something a bit more challenging.

The Toyota RSC and a lightly modded Clio 24V can win.

use the Cadalic Cien. thats a good one even stock its fast and a very good one.

Ciezta V16T. Win it from Supercar Festival. Although you'll have to splash out for a decent car for this series (Skyline V-Spec Nurburgring gets my vote at 61,000 [that's only 10% of the disappointing SLR McLaren] plus extras to juice it up), you'll get most of it back when you win all five races (75,000 in prizes). Then you can use the Ciezta on the Race of NA Sports and if you're in a mood for an easy race (mind you, NA Sports will only be worth around 6 points without ballast), take it on the La Fiesta italiano and get the 155 Touring Car which can be sold for some 200-300,000 credits or raced in the DTMs for a car worth 700,000+

I think it was this series where stock, it ate a Protomotors Spirra, DB7, Cerbera and others for breakfast. and for 200 A-spc points too.

Somewhere, I took that Suzuki to Tsukuba (10lap race) and beat them by 25 secs. For 200pts. That car is something else :dopey:

I'm currently doing this same race, with a Mazda RX8.
I've got some parts;
gearbox, clutch, flywheel,
chip, no2, sport exhaust,
suspension,
(no weight reduction, no NA tuning)

that gave me good A points, about 160.

At first I thought I'd be hammered by the impressive opposition line up, but the RX8 goes very nicely and it wasn't particularly hard at all.
(I'd just been doing the Mazda Manufacturer RX8 series of races and I was looking for another race where I could enter my tuned RX8.)

wow!

lots of cars to choose from...

thanks a bunch people!!!! 👍

You know what I see here?
160 points + "wasn't particularly hard at all" == 200p potential! 💡

Drop the exhaust + S1 tires should put you at about 175-180p.

Then maybe just find a better lineup? :dopey:

How the heck could I forget the Elise 111R?

That would surely provide a much more interesting race than my suggestions. But it all really comes down to how good of a driver you are.

completely stock commodore SS. a bit of a challenge but you should win. i did... :)

lol - it seems that us 200pts racers cannot escape that frame of mind!! It bugs me every race - "How can I get 200 and win?". Currently not a lot of winning going on though

Yes, I went back there but there was a different line up of opposition and with no parts I was only awarded 130. I didn't add extra weight though.

I'll go back and try again, I'm moving through the game very slowly trying for good points.

I think the Mazda RX8 is a cool car, I'm quite impressed with it now after experiencing its very pleasant FR performance.

Route66 used an Opel Speedster for 200 points:
Race of NA Sports : Opel Speedster (can’t recall mods) - 200

Ahem.
Ehhh... yeah. I know what route used.

I've used both a Toyota RSC and a lightly modded 24V Clio to get my 200p.

The point is, we're interested in finding NEW ways to get 200p in these races, not OLD ways!

a) The wider the variety of 200p cars that can be found in each race ==
b) The more accessible the point system is ==
c) The more people will grasp the point system and get involved in trying it out ==
d) The more contributions to the 200p thread ==
e) back to step a) and continue steps until no more cars are found

See what I'm getting at? dopey:
