Race or Road?

What are better the race cars or the road cars? I have a gt-one road car. I also got a r390 gt lm race car which is better the gt-one road car or the gt-one race car? The r390 road car or the r390 race car?

All race cars have a higher top end speed & better turning radius. One can add a lot of horses to road cars but sometimes too many horses can b detrimental. I raced a Vertigo wit the GT-One race car & still won.

The race car is obviously going to have much better attributes out of the box. But with alot of tuning you can turn the road cars into beasts as well. Just depends on how much time and effort you want to put into it.

If you're having trouble controlling the car out of corners under acceleration then fit a stage 3 turbo instead of a stage 4,things become much smoother.Nissan R390 Race car runs circles round it's road variant.

I like them both about the same. I have played GT3 for a while but I haven't played it in about 3months. I would have to say I liked the race cars the most but some road cars are nice...

Hmm, the race cars will have better handling and acceleration stock compared to a road car, but both still handle very nicely. And yes, sometimes adding too big a turbo without some kind of driving adjustments, can make the rear end a little "tailfish happy" on you. Just take it easy on the throttle, you should manage.

Sometimes it takes more than 20 minutes for someone that cares to come along.

I think everyone already answered your question. But isn't it kind of obvious? "Road" ... meant of the steets, or "Race" ... meant for the track.

That is a very simple explanation, but oh so true :D

I like the race cars stock, and maybe with a little extra horsepower. The handling and everything all fits together so perfectly. No excessive oversteer or understeer, no spinning out, great on tires (usually), and smooth driving.

The same thing applies for the road cars. And yes, too many mods will cause the road car to become too much to handle.

i use to hate having oversteer and thought there was nothing i could do about it if i couldnt adjust downforce. Then i found out about asm, lol

As far as larger cars like the GT-one are concerned, I choose the race version everytime. But with the smaller cars, it can be more fun to start off with a road car and tune them and tweak them until you've got them the way you want, and the way you enjoy, rather than just taking a race version and racing it straight out of the box.

lol... :p

Race cars are almost always better, as I'm sure you've figured out by now. ;) However, sometimes you can get the road cars set so that they're at least on par with the racers...

how can you ever think that a road car would be better than a racer on a game where you actually race ????????

Even if you max up a car you still cannot apply adjustable downforce to many of them. You cannot even keep em on the track !!

i prefer road cars but when u buy em new they handle real crap compared to race versions but u can sort that out.... then ur like hey look at my road version blow ur race one :D
