Well... 23rd, 4 laps down. That's wonderful.
 
Fun fact; I actually read @DurWinning's spoiler before watching the actual race (was just about to leave home for a while and I was using my tablet as well), so I spoiled my result before even watching. :dopey:

F:censored:k yeah, podium finish! Tony is earning that paycheck quite well, too bad I didn't win, but then again I could upset my bosses if I did. So it was probably a wise decision, haha. :lol:

Also, I'm watching the race now. Still wondering if the new sounds are any good or not, I'm a bit torn...
 
I'm still shocked I got a podium, let alone 2nd place.
 
No spoiler necessary for me, I hardly can tell where I am most of the time without the ticker so at this point its useless.

Still not digging the sounds. Great in Sportcars, Great in Indycar, Awesome in Formula 1 (buck the haters), terrible in NASCAR. Sorry but TMMC didn't make me a fan of them and this doesn't do it for me either.

  • New bodies
  • New sponsor
  • More races (Most of this season will still be on the schedule, Daytona will be restricted to make the racing better)
  • Same race length
  • Same format (I paint your cars, you pick a driver, but 1 race will be entirely up to you)
  • More even teams (Not like this season where everyone's on Chevy or Ford :lol:)
  • More different colors (I'll declare if I feel a color is too close to one another, whoever signed up later would change)
Let the speculation train begin :lol:

  • Moar bodies? I bet some Japanese manufacturer will join the party, alongside an European one. Besides that, it could be anyone...
  • New sponsor? Dunno who that could be, maybe KFC? :lol:
  • I like the restrictions for Daytona, should make racing more competitive.
  • Same ol' livery rules? I'm okay with that, simple but good.
  • More even teams? I wonder how will you force us to pick a certain car, sir, because that will be hard work... :lol:
  • More colors? Fair enough, that should stop the train of red and blue cars that run in this season. The more variety the better.

It will slow down registration at first while I check and approve everyone's cars, but it'll help in the long run.
 
I'm at a crossroads though, on which direction to take the shape of the cars. I can either stay with the Nationwide COT cars or switch it up. Closer to S2 I'll make a poll and get your guys opinion. I'm leaning towards changing though

EDIT: Also, for S2 registration, I'll open up preregistration to competitors here get first dibs at a color.

You've improved every race so far, so you've got that going for you which is nice
 
Let me guess, the sponsor will be Crayola.

As to dealing with the colors what about if two people choose a color that is close, on one of the cars reversing the colors. For example on this seasons car switching the parts that are the color we chose and the parts that are black.

I feel like it would look weird reversed, like someone colored on construction paper with a black sharpie

I checked everything and the only thing I can think is that you may have 2 shared folder in your shared folder.

Same here I do not like the sound
The Gen6 sound is better for these car. Version 3 or 4 would be better.
 
Next year will have different car bodies and noises. In the mean time, to make teams more even, this is how it will work. There will be either 5 or 6 manufacturers, and either 1 or 2 new ones (Plymouth isn't coming back, sorry @DCybertron & @Grandea GTR). When you sign up, you'll rank the teams from most wanted to least wanted. From there, it will be a random raffle for teams. For example, say you rank the manufacturers in this order (X & Y are placeholders)
  1. Ford
  2. Dodge
  3. X
  4. Y
  5. Pontiac
  6. Chevrolet
For the Ford raffle, you'll get 6 entries in the raffle, Dodge you'll get 5, X you'll get 4, Y you'll get 3, Pontiac you'll get 2 & Chevrolet you'll get 1. Teams will be picked based on which have the most raffle entries (2/3 have Chevy in the top 2, then Chevy will get drawn first).

The only person who will get to guarentee which team they're on is the series champion this year, otherwise everyone's up in the air :lol:
 
@RACECAR If Paints-By-RAH don't get back to me, would you be willing to paint the base scheme for season 2? It won't be for a little while, but eventually it'll be needed :lol:
 
The series champion (Or highest placed person that isn't me should I win the championship) will have a 327x107 area on the series logo to place what they want (AUP friendly of course). You will also have to make something that is 33x11 to fit on the cars in game next season.
