Hi,

I've just bought a copy of TT and was wondering if there was a way to start races on the grid like in real life, or if you have to start behind everyone else.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help,
Joe

You don't have to begin behind everyone else all the time. Go to Open Qualification Run, in races were it's available, and take a few laps. If you get the best lap and place 1st, stop immediately by pressing start then exit and then begin the race itself. You'd be in 1st spot from the start and have a better chance of winning the race. Hope this helps.

I haven't played in few months, so I am going by memory and what I know from the GT games. If the races are championship races, where you get points from each race to win the entire championship, then you can qualify for each race. In a racing series where it says single race, then you always start at the back. So try a racing series that says championship (they are usually 5 or more races) and enter the championship, not an individual track and you should be able to qualify. Remember to exit qualifying as soon as you get pole, because it seems that the AI that is qualifying with you can improve and put you at the back again. They will still be rolling starts, but you will start at the front.
