I CHALLENGE THEE!

With two weeks to the launch date of latest installment of the Gran Turismo franchise, Four, I challenge you all to create a new game at 0% and see how far you can get. The person with the highest percentage wins. You can choose any route - complete objectives in any order. The only rule is you must start with a brand new save and only one human may work on the save game (ie: no driver tag-outs).

Start: 00:00:01 Tuesday, February 8th, 2005
End: 00:00:01 Tuesday, February 22nd, 2005

Who's in? Unfortunately I have very little time to work on such a project ... doh! But I'll give it a whirl. I could probably crank on it for 30+ hours over the weekends though.
 
Its a good idea Loud, but I will not be starting GT3 again. Just read my 0-100% thread in the write up section and you can see how much I did in two weeks.
 
im at 84% and id love to get 100%, closest i got was 92%. im hoping to get 100 before gt4 comes out, though my love for online racing is far greater than racing crappy ai

Wait ... did you start from zero on the 8th? How did you get so far in such a short time?
 
Im upto 8%, and for the first time i managed to catch that last Gold on Domestic B - Woohoo free Mx-5 lol *By the way license tests seem to boost your percentage
 
They do, but only if you pass them. You don't get additional percentage for getting a higher level metal.
 
Yeah, otherwise it wouldnt make much sense when people have 100% but not all Golds lol
 
I'm at only 90.4% since last spring some time, so I won't be stopping and starting over now.

I want to get this one finished, so that I can start GT4!

About 10 percent currently driving a lightly tuned Mx-5. The Mx-5 Roadster endurance gave me another Mx-5 instead of the F1 Car though :(

I've never reached 100% in GT3 actually, so I started a new game a couple of months ago, just to achive it before gt4 hit the shelves! With a headstart like that, I'm obviously not in this race for 100%, but still I'm gonna try to finish it off!

Currently completed Beginner's League, Amateur League, Licences and most of the Endurance Races. My Stats is in my signature...

Wish you did this a month ago, I just restarted (on a new card, too) and I'm at 38-something %. Oh well. Hey Loud, you going to start a GT4 race, too? :D
 
Around 81% for round 2... though i started in november (on the december release premise). But i'm sure a lot of people will be "dusting" GT3 off in NA to tune up for Feb 22 ;)

at reched 50% this morning
completed first 5 pro series and the ss enduro and the seatle 100miles, still no F1 car :(

edit: i just play alll day and alll night,, cocacola must love me :)
 
I have one last time trial before I get the 100% mark, albeit after a year and a half. I came within .01 seconds of getting it and when I went to save my ghost, the damn thing froze! Doh!. So now I have to spend another godawful amount of time in front of the Complex String with that darn RUF.

All arcade time beat licences cleared
All Arcade races cleared
All GT mode licence tests cleared
All GT halls cleared
All rally courses cleared
Last night I've completed Rome 2 h. endurance, my % didn't moved from 99%
Now 99% and only Trial Mountain 2 h. endurance left...
Is it normal?
 
Yes, it stops at 99% until you reach 100%. They did this to avoid misscalculations (:

I am currently at 98% since December '04. I have the sim mode completed, and all of the races for the arcade mode. Is there something I'm missing? I have all of the licenses, championships, and single races all gold! The only thing I haven't done is the practice tracks in sim mode. The ones you can practice on in your HOME garage area. Someone help please, where is the 2% i need for the 100% club?

Arcade mode Time trials will add the extra 2%.
 
Well, I dont think I'll be anywhere near you guys hehe, Im still only at about 15%. Some of you have way too much spare time!
 
Where do I have to finish to complete the arcade modes time trials?
Wild guess, but it must be first place in all of them?
Spent a damn hour on Apricot Hill and can only turn a 1:18:4!
Any suggestions?

Try, try, try again. Yes you have to be first. Yes it's quite difficult at time (:
 
About twenty more minutes of racing after a few hour break and I turned 1:17:184 at Apricot Hill, what has/is everybody else turned or turning?
