Raced a C5 Z06

I was out for a quick drive yesterday and pulled up at some lights and I looked over to see a Z06 beside me. I look over and he gives me "the nod" so it's race on. He's with his girlfriend who's this blonde number. The lights go green and we're off! I get all my power down and the car launches well easily beating him. I'm two car lengths in front and gaining when we need to stop for the next set of lights. This race is even better than the first one and within no time at all I've gained about 5 cars on him. The look on his face was classic! Looked like he was about to cry! What made it even better was that his girlfriend didn't look too impressed either :) We pulled into a layby afterwards for a bit of a chat and it turns out he has chipped his car to 500 BHP so I was pretty pleased with that. Apparently he is actually a pro race driver who tests F1 cars. He said he's never come across a drive as skilled as me.

I was well pleased with the result and think I did the Volvo boys proud.

Ha! I had a similar experience in my Lada! :D

I was out for a quick drive yesterday and pulled up at some lights and I looked over to see a Veyron beside me. I look over and the guy is laughing to himself, no doubt thinking an easy win is in the bag. The lights go green and we're off! It's pretty close to be honest but I just pipped him. We need to stop for the next lights, but now my tyres are warmed up I'm going to side-step the clutch and really launch it this time. Putting in one of my best launches ever I was able to annihilate him, gaining 7 car length and still pulling! As I passed him I looked over to make sure the smug grin was wiped from his face and it sure was! Putting one on the board for the Lada crowd I went off home!

I was well pleased with the result and think I did the Lada boys proud.
 
C5 Z06? Did they even sell those in the UK, lol...?

I didn't think you even owned a car and better yet this story breaks all kinds of rule on these forums. Not to mention there is 0 truth to it. I know I'm not perfect when it comes to telling the truth, but I'm changed my ways and I'm trying to build trust back up with people.

Way to put the link in finally, this is still a joke though and should be in the auto form if anything. But that was the stupidest thing I've ever seen.
 
Yeah, I'm not seeing much use here, and we've got a topic bordering on street-racing (even if it IS for comedic purposes). Maybe the Race-O-Matic is worth bunging into the Jokes thread, or elsewhere in Comedy Corner, but that's about it.

So off to the lockfarm it is.
