I myself have only really started watching this year, so my selections are fairly limited:

Germany 09

For me, the races that have always stuck in my memory are (in no particular order):

I think controversial incidents count as captivating, perhaps not for racing action, but certainly for action in a general sense.
Note I also put 2005 US Grand Prix, again, rubbish race, but certainly one that will be remembered for a long time and it displays perfectly well what F1 can be about.

I'll take it to mean, races that got people's attention and will be remembered. For good or bad reasons, those are the races I will always remember from this decade.

The last laps of the Title decider at Brazil in '08

Definetly the last few laps of the 2001 Australian GP, the opening laps of the 2008 Nurburgring GP (up until the restart) and 2009 Nurburgring/Abu Dhabi.

Granted Abu Dhabi was the last race, but the feeling of it no longer being a title hunt and just a race for the sake of having a race, as well as the physical atmosphere and twilight style will definetly stay in my mind for a few years to come.

There was no restart at Hockenheim, I think he meant the 2007 European Grand Prix.

That's it I meant the race where Marcus Winkelhock led for a few laps in the Spyker (which I should have thought of before, as there wasn't any Spyker last year...)

2005? Yeah, good one though it was a bit of a strange one considering the midfielders were at the front and the front runners at the back.

One of them was the Hockenheim race in I believe 2000 where Barrichello won his first race starting from 18th. Not only because I'm a fan of Barrichello, but that race was so action packed with all kinds of incidents. Makes me sad when I remember how cool that track was...

Can't remember the year, think it was 1999 but the European GP when Johnny Herbet won in a Stewart?
