I already said no, Sunday is probably one of the worst days to hold a tournament.
*sigh* alright then, but we'll miss you (no sarcasm).

I'd gladly come to mop yall up with my Mugen NSX, but I'm soooo scared of Max. Seriously

come on, i know i'm pretty but it's not like you'll turn gay the second you lay eyes on me.

Goddamn. Oh well. Well Realist 128, I was actually hoping that you'd show up so I could POSSIBLY get to know ya, but oh well. Maybe next time. (No bull****) Well, I guess I'll just get a laugh out of Max E. and his constant array of jokes. At least that'll give me more insentive to play to enjoy myself. If I (Somehow) win, eh, whatever. It's all about the competition to me, but I know what I'm supposed to do. (And I honestly mean this....) No hard feellings to you all. But I do hope to give you all a decent race. Well, I hope to see you there Max E. 👍

i'll tell you, 7 bucks is next to nothing to be involved in a fun competition playing a game you love. i will be anything but serious on this one. no speanding a bunch of money and travelling halfway around the country for this. 7 bucks and a train ride is all it takes. it sure beats sitting around the house or sitting on the curb with your homies trying to figure out what to do.

anyway, i don't think i'll be worth a damn on sim tires anyway. and you know what? i could'nt care less.

so why don't some of the endless number of NYC area GTPlaneteers come down for a good time. it's 10-15 bucks well spent to hang with your GT3 kinfolk  just a few bucks for a kick ass fun time hanging out with other game freak nerds who don't laugh at your constant game geekdom like your wife, girlfriend, etc. but embrace it instead. hopefully, i'll see some of you there.

Well, that's a word that has to go into the recordbooks. Geekdom. Damn, I'll have to come up with my own personal definition of that word. Here we are...

Geekdom Adjective - Playing 6 straight hours of GT 3, while listening to old "Repetitive" Remixes of Super Mario World, Sonic 1-3, Knuckles, Super Metroid, and Contra audio tracks. "We will not allow any lousy and lazy acts of Geekdom." --Geekdom, Geekdus, Geekdomania.

There we go. I think that'll do.

How's that, Max?

LMAO!!!! Now that was rich...heheh

how did it go??

i'm truly sorry for missing the event. we were all beat up from going downtown the night before. it's not often the missing link comes down from toronto to hang out. the next day we were pretty wiped and i did'nt even know what time the event was (though i doubt it would have mattered to be honest). we ended up with a pretty heated round robin tourney between Link, Myself, and My bro Jake. I hope it was a success anyway.

i promise to attend the next one though. i really had mitigating circumstances this time around unfortunately. best of luck to all n sit. laters.

Well, no one showed up and things didn't go as planned. My colleague Shen-Yin and my partner Shining Mirage were both upset as hell about the issue.
I, personally, am sorry that no one came or kept their word.
*sighs* What is a female to do...

there was no mention of females  seriously though, we were just knocked out. missing link comes down from toronto a few times a year (or i go up there) to duel and with my brother over as well, we figured we had competition enough already. i'm once again sorry it turned out that way, although it's not like 5 people would have been much different and i get to keep my subway fare cause i'm a cheap bastid. good luck next time. i'm up for competition, that just did'nt time out right for us. next time, if there is one, i'll go. i promise.

~Born to Play~

Due to the lack of any gamers other than Empire Arcadia's Hyper Clutch Unit showing up, a last minute change of plans were made on that day. There was a casual inivite to play several racing games between the PlayStation 2 and the Xbox for free. While that took place, Nintendo's promotional street team escorted by Empire Arcadia arrived at Neutral Ground and because of that we ended up Promoting Nintendo's games and had a tournament there instead. As mentioned in another thread, we are looking forward to starting from scratch to build a New York Community. We have two weeks to foundate one, so that we can put into effect a project or sorts or a outing where Empire Arcadia gives a gift to this community.

For more on what happened, last week Sunday http://www.empirearcadia.com/community/com-07120402-p1p1.htm

Until then.
