racing modification?

i have tried to put on race modications on a bunch of my cars, but every single time it tells me i cant do that to this car. Am i doing something wrong, or are there only specific cars that can get races mods

there's quite a few threads on this. there's only 17 cars that can be RMed.

there are only something like 15-18 cars that you can do that... all premium cars, it is in the list somewhere they put a note (RM)...

There are only specific vehicles that can have racing modifications put on. Remember in GT2, with the Ruf's could not have racing modifications (for example)?
