For a while now I've been thinking of running a tarmac rally series in GT5 using tracks created in the Course Maker as stages. Before I open a thread for the series I just want to see how much interest there is and sort out the rules regarding car classes. The rally I'm basing this off (Targa Tasmania) only has two competitive classes, Modern Competition and Classic Competition, however I want to use HP/Weight limits.

The classes for the tarmac rally series (which will now be known as Targa GT - thanks to CAMikaze for the name suggestion) will be organised using the performance points system that is scheduled to be released in the next update. Sports Soft tyres will be used in all classes and racing/concept cars are not allowed to be used. There will be three rallies, Toscana, Eifel and Mt. Aso, each with 10 stages, created by 10 different players. Only one run of each stage is allowed.
Would anyone here be interested in racing in an offline series in GT5? I ask this as some people may not be able to enter online events, due to time zone differences, slow internet connections, etc.
