Ok. First, for anyone that has already looked into this, I hope that they have found what I have found. Second, I'm not the best at time trials but I tried to do my best to give accurate results. And third, all tests where performed under the same car, car settings, and track. I had a idea where Racing Soft tires would perform better than Racing Rain tires under any condition.
Ex. 1: Weather at race start: 0%
Water Surface at race start: 0%
Ex. 2: Weather at race start: 100%
Water Surface at race start: 100%
So I decided to perform a test using these examples. Below is what I did to perform these and show what times I achieved. I will also list what track and car I did these with.
Track: High Speed Ring/changeable weather
Car: Red Bull X2010 S. Vettel
First Test
Weather at race start: 0%
Water surface at race start: 0%
Racing Soft: 34.908
Racing Rain: 39.701
Weather: 50%
Surface Water: 50%
Racing Soft: 36.108
Racing Rain: 39.628
Weather: 100%
Surface Water: 100%
Racing Soft: 37.092
Racing Rain: 39.539
Racing Rain do perform better under more raining conditions (that's if you we're to do these time trials with just Racing Rain) but Racing Soft performs even better under any condition. This will really show in the turns. With Racing Rain, I was only able to run at 216 mph without hitting the wall. Racing Soft: 237 mph. Try it yourself.
