Has there ever been a video game with racing trucks?

And how cool would it be to have some in GT5??

I've seen truck racing in person and it's amazing to see these huge things racing. They aren't slow!

The trucks are bigger and heavier, I was in a room the other day where some spanish fool was running into everyone in the Range Rover Storm-thingy... do we really need to give these people bigger weapons...

If you race in online championships with your friends on the PS3 then it would be great. Also there are a lot of people who drive fairly. So why not.

Well that's just plain wrong then... I said nothing negativ about truck racing in general, I just shared my oppinion on adding trucks to GT5.

Admittet, not the most diplomatic way of saying it, but that's how I feel about it. However my previous post still stands, I did't say anything bad about truck racing, just about adding trucks to GT5 - But if you really wanna point fingers and call someone hater, then i would say w0lfman18 himself is a hater, for calling NASCAR for "yanking crap round round" (what ever he means by that), and deeming people who doens't agree with him slow...

But to put it in another way then, there are so many things I would like fixed about/added to Gran Turismo 5 before trucks....

Yes there are certainly things that could be changed before trucks, but I'm just saying i think it's a good idea. I'm not trying to point the finger at anyone or push them down.

Yes there was one that came out several years ago called "Super Trucks" still have it sitting on my shelf and pull it out once in a while when I boot up the PS2. was actually quite fun and it had damage even.

There is nothing wrong with different types of racing, I actually wouldn't mind a few of the NASCAR trucks or even a little semi racing in GT5. But there needs to be a way to filter out the different types of vehicles for online racing. I have no idea why PD doesn't address this issue. If we could have the choice to filter out the NASCAR, Race Cars, X1's, and street cars it would make the online experience more enjoyable. Unfortunately, you could never filter out stupidity.

maybe you need to bring your backside to the states and go for a ride in one of those "yanking crap roundy roundy" cars. might change your mind when your butt is in traffic 6" apart at 180+mph.
Also did you ever wonder why all these big name drivers from other racing disciplines are trying it? AND most of them don't make it? Go ask JPM how hard it is going from an F1 car to a NASCAR stocker.
