Are you a watch guy? I believe a watch says alot about someone, that's why for xmas and bdays I usually find my self buying watches for friends and family.

Does it have the clutch? I'm debating if I want the clutch I mean as far as realistic you can't get better but I feel like after the first week its Gona lose its charm!.
But as far as control can you drift and feel it in the wheel? And i'm curios about the pedals do they just fall to the floor or is it like a real car? Press down half way doing 50mph drop the hammer then feather thru the turn or is it like hitting the x button?

Both G27 and the Fanatec have clutch and 6 speed H-shifter of course. Drifting in a wheel is not that easy. Easy with AWD not so much with RWD.

I actually never wear one. Stems from my apprentice days on the railway. No jewelry, watches etc.

I'm too clumsy, probably crack it or something lol.

They make ceramic watches now that are almost completely scratch proof and can really take a beating! Little pricy tho

I think we should take this to the Watch forum lol.

Not if we talk about the Bugatti watch $120,000 the read out is on the side of the watch so you don't have tho take you have off the wheel to read the time!

I'm sure they are better but there's no way they can make the car drive any faster! Its the same control I have when using a controller. I can throw the car hold the drift and power out!

Actually, I would disagree with that. Here's an example:

When I used my Driving Force Pro to play LFS, I used to run a certain track a lot and there was a chicane that I couldn't run flat out and it would cost me time (people who drive the FBM at BL1 know what I'm talkin about). Once I got the G25, I could easily do the chicane flat out. Between the much easier motion of the G25 and the larger wheel diameter, I was able to be much more accurate with my inputs and I was able to shave almost half a second a lap from that alone. My other laptimes improved as well.

It's hard to explain how this wheel feels but il try. It's like.having a playstation controller in the shape of a wheel. To turn the the wheel all the way to the left is like pushing the joy stick all the way to the left and every half a degree in between. So it's literally the same as using the controller

True, Just bought a wheel and the last sweeping left hander on the Spa track is hard to nail each time flat out with the controller, With the wheel it's silly how much easier it is :)

It's not completely about how much faster your lap times are, at least for me. Sure that $60 wheel is still giving you good lap times on the controller, but how realistic is that wheel?

Realism makes sim-racing 10x better, trust me. I started out with a Madcatz MC2 steering wheel for the Xbox 360, no force feedback, it just had a spring, basically the xbox version of what you have. Not too long ago, my friend sold me his G25 for $50 and I had just gotten a PS3 at the time as well. I haven't touched my xbox wheel since! Having force feedback, a clutch, a bigger steering wheel diameter, better paddle shifters, and a H-shifter completely changes your gameplay. It's so much more fun, I could care less about how fast my laptimes are! It doesn't stop there either, because the G25/G27 have so much modding capabilities too. Once I get more money saved up, I might even get a CSW or T500rs.

Moral of the story is buy the best stuff you can first. You get what you pay for, and your sim-racing experience will be soooo much better. I was basically in your situation too, thinking, "A non-force feedback wheel can't be that bad." Boy was I wrong, and now I have a $100 paperweight for the Xbox 360.

DFGT and a wheelstandpro, love it. Simple, relatively cheap, has performed like a champ for me.
