In my case, exit direction is the real problem! :lol:

[edit] Ah, I was talking about the Daytona Road offline mission. That's the only thing I need to complete A-class and allow me to drive somewhere else besides Beginner online. Oh, heck, it just occurred to me - I bet I can't drive in Pro mode online until I clear S-class, right?

Its much more eassy to get money with the online. Even if it sucks driving with all the rammers in easy, and itermidiate races, they give some good cash. Just try not to get to frustrated when you are being rammed off.
 
For the chicane on the Daytona Road, the key for me is to hit the brake point (oddly enough that is the first piece of advice slicecom gave me - always hit your brake points and the second was nail the corners) - turning on the driving line will help you here. Go into it slower than needed originally then start playing with braking to find the real max you can go in while still maintaining reasonable enough control to accelerate on the short straight and then cut the exit properly. I don't use the F430 there but in the vette or the Ford GT LM I can generally go into it in the low 80's and come out of it in the hi 90's (the occassional shortcut penalty or spin-out on exit does occur) - with others hovering around you that gets to be an even bigger challenge.
 
sounds like you had the complete opposite of 99% of my online experiences!

Im always really hesitant to race online as I just know I will end up getting worked up about being rammed etc... not that im quick (far from it) but it just doesnt help when your trying to put a half decent lap together and you know the chances are youll get rammed during some point in it.

Wish more races were as good as the ones you had!

Completely agree - exit direction can be a real problem for me sometimes especially when the rear of my car exits the turn FIRST!

You do not have to clear S-class to race in Pro Mode: you just need to clear A-class - during the downtime last night I cleared my first S-class race and I was racing in the Pro online races all this week.
