Maybe, maybe not. It might suffer from excessive understeer as the front end is very light but of course the general balance is the best possible. Try it out yourself. 👍

Generally I'd say no. They tend to spin easily when you get a little sideways. though some cars like the Clio V6 may be fun on gravel, I doubt it can come close to 4WD lap times.

would a mr car make a good rally car?

As TEAM666 said there is a MR rally car (Lancia Stratos) and they may suffer from understeer but they do go alright, a FR might possibly do a bit better because you should drift in rallies and do drift effectively you need to oversteer and FWDs, 4WDs and MRs can be prone to undretseer but you should go for what you feel comfortable with :)

don't forget Pug 205 T16, since it has rare MR/AWD layout. best of the both sides. 👍 :)

As do the Lancia S4 Delta and Ford RS200, also the Renault 5 Turbo rally car is MR.

I've developed several succesful rally cars that are different drivetrains. Enough modding will overcome any understeer or oversteer situations. I say ...Go For It! :dopey: 👍
