Rally cars other than WRC

The main Group B cars are in the PSP version - the S4, the RS200 and the 205T16 so it would be fair to expect them in GT5. The Quattro would be a great addition too, I remember how much fun it was in the first Colin McRae rally game on PS1. Apparently in real life it was a bit of a dog to drive though.

The S4 is great fun, it takes some taming but once you do it's fantastically fast. I posted elsewhere that I can do the Nurburgring using standard physics in 6:55 despite long sections bouncing back off the maximum speed of 157mph. It runs in a basic 449bhp form which is more than it did in GT4 if I remember. Would love for it to be tuneable in GT5 to see if you can get more practical speed out of it at the 550-600bhp it was capable of running in.

Main rally cars I'd like to see that we haven't had before are the race trim Quattro, Opel Manta, mkII Escort, Lancia 037 and Metro 6R4.

The S4 was my fastest 0-100m on GT4 think it did it in 7secs. That was tuned to the make though, which would be around 500bhp.

The works rally car as around 480bhp at 2.6bar boost.

I can only follow the other suggestions here (all of group B), but I would really love to see the white Audi Quattro A2 in the red/grey/black striping. To me, it just looks so much better then the yellow A2.

And the Lancia 037, Metro 6R4, Ferrari 288 GTO, Opel Mantra, Opel Kadet, BMW M1, Toyota Celica, Toyota MR2, Porsche 911 and at least 10 others.

Basically, besides all the Group B cars GT4 didn't have, it had all of them. I think it had most of the better known cars.

I'd like to see some of the Group S cars, they never go a chance to race, the were getting ready to start and then Group B was cancelled after that RS200 crash and the Group S was scrapped as well. Would be interesting to drive thoes Group S cars though. Think Group B, but faster.

that was stupid of me :) too much youtube lately...

I don't think they would have managed to get WRC and IRC licensed in the once game.

Why not? Both are licensed by the FIA, both feature mostly manufacturers who already have featured cars in GT.

I would love to use some of the latest IRC machines, especially the new Fiesta S2000.
The Skoda, Abarth and Proton would be fun too 👍

It'd be a waste of money to license both, the IRC isn't as well known and it certianly won't create much of a buzz in the shadow of the WRC license. There's no reason PD can't license any rally cars not in the WRC individually just like they have been up to now.

Same difference, licensing cars that happen to compete in IRC, don't have to license the IRC itself.

i just checked the Forza 3 car list and they have a 207 S2000. If Forza has it, i see no reason GT5 shouldnt have it.

^Don't start going on about the stupid Forza has it and therefore it must be in GT5, PLEASE!!!-It would be nice to iclude some IRC and S1600 cars though-207 S2000 Punto S2000 Fabia S2000 C2 S1600 Swift S1600 Clio S1600 etc etc.

^ what u on about. I said, i see no reason it shouldnt be in GT5. I didnt say forza has it so GT5 must. Stop being so aggro.
