Well, glad he's OK but must be pretty devastating at his home race! Mikko's not doing too well this year I think its fair to say.

Woah that some number of rolls, good job he stayed in line though, it could of been much worse if he went into the trees.

Yeah, like Kimi Raikkonen at the last round in Bulgaria, turns out he appeared a bit later on his mobile phone.

It's a great example of how much risks rally drivers take compared to other motorsports. On track, if you crash you sort of know where you'll end up and how big the impact will be (depending on the track layout) and you've got marshalls at every corner along with plenty of tyre walls. In rallying, you have nothing!

Err, that's a BIG off!!

Looks like he maybe had a touch too much opposite lock on in mid air and the car just gripped a bit more than he thought at the front on landing... reminds me of a crash Colin had some years ago. Glad to see Mika's OK 👍

He's really not been on form this season... most of the time I think he's been trying way too hard, knowing that if he isn't absolutely on it 100%+ every single stage he's not going to be able to compete with the Citroens.

This looks much worse than it probably was, seeing how the roof of the car stayed relatively intact, and never actually made contact with the ground during the rollovers. And while it was at relatively high speed, the car didn't get much air while rolling over, which is when things usually get ugly.

I love how the crowd comes out to help. One of the coolest things in rally. And with all those part everwhere, I'd be scooping them all up. The wouldn't need them again right?

 Of course they need them, to find out if any of it was mechanical issues, althought it most certainly was due to the fact that he took the yump too fast and overshot the turn causing him to roll over.

@SweetshopUnion Do you not condone organ-isms either?

Any word on the GT5 booth @ Rally Expo Finland?

Aren't spoilers supposed to be kept out of thread titles? Nobody is watching the WRC, but still...

What about the wing or hood. That's all just extra stuff to comly to the rules. I think they could without having a destroyed wing. Like at 44 seconds you can see a piece in the air that says Abu Dhabi, they don't need that, but I do :D.

I notice how in the first video he takes out one of the camera's, which in turn broken his windshield. Maybe he couldn't see very well making that right hand turn?

Mikko and Jarmo said that probably something broke from the steering or suspension when they landed. As you can see from the video, he is landing perfectly to the middle of the road and he doesn't have counter steering going on, front tires are pointing where they should. But still when it lands the car snaps immediately to the left.
