So I've made two tracks that I'm classifying as "Rallycross" since they are based on supercross tracks but adapted for rally cars.

They don't really fit the category of jump track in my mind because that is not the sole purpose. I spent a lot of time on the flow to make sure the tracks are fast, competetive, and fun. You get off the ground plenty but it's controlled (once you learn the track a little bit) and many of the biggest jumps have well placed landings. Most sections of the sections can be driven at over 100mph even while going over the jumps and bumps.

Tonight I tested them online for a while and a few absolutely EPIC races broke out.

@Middy and I had a blast for about an hour and then others started showing up. At one point there were 6 cars on track in the pouring rain battling like crazy. It was awesome to say the very least.

I plan to release these in the track database after a few more tweaks within the next week and would love to get a few races together.

I'll try to post a replay video from tonight, tomorrow.

Anybody else have interest in this sort of thing? What category should I put it in when I post it to the track DB?

That was fun. Looking forward to racing with you again. Never thought it would be that fun to bounce around a track.

Thats what some of the other people said too. Yeah it was fun. Made another new one today and have some replays recorded that I just need to upload now.

@smskeeter23 are you going to have that track open for some racing tonight?
Not sure honestly. Probably have to spend some time with the wife tonight :nervous::lol:

But, I am in the process of posting it for download

Sorry in advance to the mods for the double post I am about to create here but I didn't want to replay AND post videos in the same one.

Finally got a few videos up of each of the three tracks. They're not the best by any means but you get the idea.

Force Mountain
This track is quite fast with the first two straights being flat out as fast as you can go over all the terrain. There is a small "double in/single out" after the first turn. the second turn greats you with an enormous drop off that can be landed every time. It's easier online because the game guides you straight down to the ground but you'll be on a good line if you take the turn before it on a VERY late apex. The last "rythm section" before the front stretch can be done as a double/double offline but unfortunately online it slams you into the face of the next hill, but it's right at the top so with the right technique and finesse you can skip the tops. This replay is from an online test so you'll see what I mean.

H-Town Motorpark
There is nothing too unnerving about this track on it's face. I designed the airtime specifically with online in mind so that the maximum heights won't be affected by the online invisible ceilings. 90% of the hills/jumps can be taken at full throttle on this track and even then some of the 635ft altitude changes are so dramatic that you don't really go over any of them at an absurd speed. All in all a pretty fun track in my opinion.

Oh, and I almost forgot... if you get too brave on the last turn and lose it you'll slide right into the pit lane!

Anaheim Supercross
Saved the best for last with this one. This track is HEAVILY inspired by a layout of the 90's configuration of one of the Anaheim Supercross track layouts. There is a giant downhill section after the first right hand turn with a bit of a "kicker" jump in the middle of it. Even though the online physics keep you from flying out into space you still need to find a good line, speed, and setup to hit this thing and keep moving forward without spinning on the landing. It is a huge risk/reward spot. There is a dead blind turn shortly after the front stretch that will kill you every time you come up the hill too fast. After that there is a very uneven rythm section, stay left if you can. Near the finish there is a wide open rough section with a "table" to "table" jump and a wild braking zone. Once again there is a rythm section just before the last turn that in offline mode can be doubled easily but online slams you in the face.

Also, try this in 100% weather with rain tires. It wass the most fun I've had in a long time with GT6.

Let me know what you all think about these and if I should make more. I'm having a lot of fun so far :)
