This site has helped me and let me help others! I have traded cars for remote races with ch1potle, traded with others for rear paints and I'm in the middle or trading for a wheelie car from I love gt5 and maybe a drift car too! I would never have done this with :gtplanet:.net!

Thanks for all the kind words about the site, guys. :O
So, should we start organizing this ?
We need to have Jordan on board. With his ties with Sony/PD, that would make all of this more credible.
Then we should start voting for cars that the community want to see in the GTPlanet Car Pack ! :D
Nothing would make me happier, but that is unfortunately not something that could ever happen. I actually had formal discussions with Sony a few years ago about purchasing track-side billboards in GT5 a few years ago, but they made it clear they would not allow the site to be in the game at any price. Unfortunately, they see GTPlanet as competition to their own web properties instead of an asset to their brand.

I would say GTP is helping GT5 because it helps people and NOT STOP GT5

Yea but you have to remember this is still not a a official pd or playstation site. I guess they find it as competition against playstation because there official forums are on the playstation forums but on these forums there is more talk about gt5 then on playstation.

Ok. There is more GT5 talk on GTP instead of playstation.com because playstation.com talks or every game but GTP talks about GT players.

Amen, I joined this site yesterday and I am loving it! I have learned some and hope to learn a lot more! Thanks to all the members and staff.

So any car packs that gets released has to be ran past Sony first?
Say GTP hosts a poll, open to members above a certain post count, to vote for the top 5 cars. PD doesn't necessarily have to release that car pack under GTP's name do they? ;)

Yup, GTPlanet is my go-to source when I'm stumped or have questions or problems. Lots of great folks here willing to help, even with some really noobie stuff at times! :)

Sony see Gtplanet as competition to their own websites, yet they allowed a big Konami banner to be displayed in GT4 on Fuji Speedway. :S
gtp is much more informative than the official site and the forums are easier to use. Sony should be promoting it rather than seeing it as competition.

But if you look at it from their point of view: a bloke made a website about one of our products better than the people that we pay to do that.

So doesn´t really surprise me :grumpy:
